Why I Would Make a Good War Team Member

Because I'd like to learn. I know, I haven't gone vast distances and worked great wonders. Much of what I've done in-game could probably be accomplished much more swiftly and compactly, though I suppose that's the nature of being a filthy casual player. My hope is that my saving grace comes through in being readily available and decent at listening so that I can improve and perhaps rise to be a better competitor now and going forward.

I don't think you quite understand this part. That's for putting how much electrum you currently have in game so that Generals know how much you can spend on upgrades and such.

It's not like a "I will pay you this amount if you take me on your team" thing.
