How To Join War

Before doing anything else, please read and make sure you understand the War #6 Rules (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,44978.0.html)

Copy the code below, and paste it in a new topic in the War Auction subforum. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,226.0.html). Replace all the *** with correct information.

The title of your topic should be your forum username, followed by the elements you choose to ban. For example, if your forum name is BillyBob and you banned , , and , your title would look something like this: Billybob (Air, Aether, Darkness).  If a large number of bans and constrained space in your title means you can't fit it all, just make sure your abbreviations make sense.  Remember that bidding on you starts at 1 card plus two cards for the first ban, and one card for each following ban (i.e. no bans = 1 card, 1 ban = 3 cards, 2 bans = 4 cards… 10 bans = 12 cards).  The more elements you ban, the less likely it is you'll receive a bid.

You can make changes to your application at any time, however bans and favourite elements cannot be changed once bidding has begun. Later, Generals will start bidding on players. You can post on your own application topic, convincing the Generals to bid on you, but please avoid spamming.

Why I would make a good War team member Give further details on why you should be picked here. There is no real word limit, but it's probably best to keep it short and sweet.

I am a very active player. I visit the forums and chat every day. I think War is very interesting and I would love to join. bla bla, etc. etc.

Some changes to this form can be made for some players.  If, for instance, you have all unupped, upped, and rare cards it's not necessary to list them out.  You should still include your number of unupped nymphs, though, as well as a note for why you excluded the information.  Basically you should include all information that could conceivably impact a General's decision of whether/how much to bid on you.  If any such information is missing you'll be asked to modify your application.

I don't see the reason since shards are banned anyway.
