Why I would make a good War team member

I've been around since January, admittedly shorter than a many of my fellow applicants, but in that time, I've been an eager student of the game, spending large amounts of time lurking on the forums and reading large numbers of strategy threads.  During forum Brawl, I even contributed my own article, which at Chapuz's request, has now been included in Elements Articles.  I've entered the mentor program as an apprentice under two extremely talented PVPers (RootRanger and Blacksmith), and done my best to learn from them. Even before I joined the mentor program, I've had some success in PVP competitions, placing 3rd in BL and winning a tournament.  More recently, I made the top 8 in the Sacrifice event.  I do have two marks ( and ). I'm a dedicated member of the community who's willing to work with others, and I try to make sure that whatever teams and groups I'm part of perform as well as they possibly can.  My Brawl teammates spoke well of my teamwork in the Member Appreciation Thread, and I'm very grateful to have worked with all of them. As for my card collection, I try to keep a reasonable amount of on hand, and as a result, don't actually have all unupped cards - I buy cards as I need them and try to make sure I always have the funds to do so.  My funds are a little low at the moment, due to upping decks for my entry into CL, but I grind for a couple thousand electrum nearly every day, and I have a top-tier grinding deck for every level of Arena play - SoBr Air Rush for Gold when I want to play lots of fast games, and Swallow for Platinum when I want large chunks of moo-lah per game.  I tend not to upgrade cards until I need them, which in turn gives me the flexibility to upgrade whatever my team needs each week, though makes my collection look meager right now. I'm extremely excited to end up on any war team, and I'll be very grateful to whoever's willing to take a chance on me.  My avatar is currently the "shield" card to symbolize my lack of elemental allegiance - I pride myself far more on my flexibility and adaptability than on my ties to any specific element.  My avatar, of course, will change to a card of my element once I am drafted.
