Before you say this wont work, I thought it wont work too.....

The only reason I want to try someting different is because I want a deck that isnt rainbow or rol hope~

The Deck
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5i5 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 710 710 710 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gp 7gp 7gr 7h1 7n2 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q7 7q8 7q8 80h 80i 8pu

:aether :aether :aether
The mark is enough since you dont really have to use fractal until the end, and its easy to cast quint and 1 a turn will provide enough for the anubis

:time :time :time
There is alot of time factory because it is very important to draw a few early so you can just get hourglasses out very fast and draw thru your deck.
Dont worry about running out of time quantum for eternity!
Quint an anubis and slowly turn by turn use the mark to quint chrysona 1 by 1 to slowly build up poison damage

:water :water :water
Indunation + Squid is extremely useful. Like morte for example, I can freeze upto 3 scavenger on his side with the the squid
other side

:death :death :death
3 Tower and all the stockpile quanta will be enough to build 30+ poison at least until you are limited to 3 poison a turn

To by pass crazy healing, shield etc, eventually the FG will have a poison counter of 100+

General strategies
This deck has no permenant control / protection. Gods like Eternal phoenix and Obilterator is impossible because they can draw those easy (explosion/pulv). This does not apply to decay tho...

Bascially, against most gods (with creature controls), you play tower early, then use permafrost + SOG to stall. Play quinted anubis, then quint squid and flying eternity. Then when your hand is empty, fractal a chrysona, and quint it slowly 1 by 1 while building up posion in between

I like to keep 2 in my draw deck and quint 7 chrysona, because this way if i need to use eternity for offense, I can do so every other turn. When your death quanta is low in its stockpile, quinting 5 or so chrysona is often enough (mostly my stockpile is 40-50 tho, before I reach card zero)

Sometimes when I have low water quanta, and have to replay permafrost for extra hand slot, I use hourglass to fill my hand, and keep even towers in my hand so I can have 8 cards and discard it instead.

Watch your water quanta, do not chain freeze 4 creatures, but instead freeze free so you can build up the other 3. In all the game I play, i never ran out of water quanta

Never play inundation unless you have 3 water tower in play. When you can play it, dont rush off playing it, play it when you feel the need, but early inundation kills gods like Osiris and Ferox like crazy

For gods with medium level of perm control, such as chaos lord, use hourglass early and as bait. Hold on to your eternity until you can fly + quint it, or you need to play it or you will deck out

Dont bother flying your eternity if you are about to deck out, because you wont be able to rewind until the next turn. Same goes, watch out when you fly it into a turtle shield / permafrost, because it might lock it and you might not be able to use it on your last card

Some gods might seem to be very hard, but when you get the gist of the deck after alot of playing, you should do OK. Remember 2 eternity to lock FG's hand is your friend. Building on that, if the FG has 7 cards in hand, you can rewind his creatures x2 to change the creatures he has in the first row (sometimes requires luck)

If you rewind creature A then creature B, then the AI draws B first and he will always play B first. This is useful against morte and incarnate mainly because you can make the first row just skelly

Statistics
http://elementsstatistics.comxa.com/getstatistics.php?dv=1784987372
The reason the stats is quite high precentage because alot of gods i have a high win rate against, while i got lucky facing those gods more often then others

I only have 100 or so games in there which is not the best sample size, but  didnt start record stats until i was fully satisfied with playing and tweaking the deck which took me around 100 more games played prior to start recording. Also 1 or 2 games was won because the oracle's pet helped, half the time it flooded tho = = (1 game i quinted a photon lol)

I added the dithing there, so the god with 0% like obliterator is obviously ditch.

Extra notes
Decay: I have beaten him numerious times and consider him easy. This is because you do not play the deck the way you normally do. Play the quint on a flying eternity, use hourglass to bail his steal (only 4) and use permafrost to stall all his pest. Use inundation to minimise his pest to 7. Wait until he decks out

Osiris: He is easy, just rewind all his momentumed things and let them drown to inundation and deck out (most cases he die with 1 or 2 cards left)

Eldnis: His immortal creature dont drown and he can heal alot. Use two eternity to lock his hand, while rewining the grown things. Difficult, but his deck has quite alot of spell, so sometimes even with 1 eternity can lock his hand quite well, if you draw it early

Ditching: I ditch the following because they are very strong agsinst this deck > Obliterator, Dream catcher, Seism, Eternal Phoenix, Octane
Yes, I beat Rainbow once, got him close 3 times

---
Finally I would like you to know I made this to escape the plain boring grinding. This deck is slow to start, but alot of people has agreed its amazing fun to play. Other then that, I grinded myself, with this deck over 50k electrum now =)

Is one octopus enough...? At first i was thinking fractal the octopus until I realised it was the chrysaora that was to be fractaled.

might it be useful to add an animate weapon? this would allow you to fly an eternity and therefore immortalise it with anubis.

In your first post you said -1 chrysaora -1 physalia. I didn't see the original version but due to the description I think you meant +1 chrysaora -1 physalia, not a big error just something small.

I might try this deck out in trainer, if I can get it to work well I'll try build it on my actual account and then I'll get defeated by all the gods :D.

Thanks for spotting that, its been corrrected

You can fly a quinted eternity, but I rather use 2 eternity since drawing one early also help lock the god's hand (when he has 7 card and repeatedly draws the same creature)
And this is 100% meaning no deckout problem

Put the immortals and the water creatures aside. You deal with 7 creatures only.

Octopus can max freeze 3 before the cycle restart
Permafrost will freeze hopfully 1 or 2
And SoG will heal the remaining

So yes, in most cases, its enough

After Alot of thoughts, I concluded you can run this un-upped, but its best if you have the hourglass and the anubis upped!

Would unupgraded version be exactly the same?

Yes, accept its slower, hourglass would cost 2 to draw, and anubis cost 2 for the ablitiy, making you cant quint a chrysona every turn, slows it down

So its essential to up the anubis, but otherwise, should be good to go

I think he meant add a flying weapon and still keep the 2 eternities.  That way you have anubis for pseudo permanent control protection... still can be affected by fireshield, etc. and could get tricky with innundation, as you wouldn't want to fly your weapon into the flood... :)

Nice deck though.  Cokeandaspirin (I think) had the only effective FG poison deck, but relied on the 2 turn sundials, so I've been hoping another poison deck would pop up...
