• I had not thought of using SoFre.  I see it could get around reflective shields, but SoFre is a % chance, and the chance is too low without 3 or more in play.  In today's PC heavy environment, including 3+ permanents in your deck to counter something you almost never see isn't worth it.  If reflective shields start getting more popular than this will make more sense.

SoFre does not let you bypass reflective shields. Momentum does not let you bypass reflective shields. If you want to bypass reflective shields, you have to stop dealing spell damage. With psions, you can lobotomize them. With SoW, you can use divine shield or burrow to remove wisdom status. Either way, you would need to be using a different creature.

Thanks for pointing that out.  I thought I read in someone's post that the reason they included the SoFre was to bypass shields.  Maybe I am imagining things, or I'm wrong, or they're wrong, or the mechanics changed.  Either way it looks like it shouldn't be in there anyway.  I'll edit my post.

Basically the same with some rewind, adds a lot of protection against rush decks.
