I really like the idea.  SoFre gets rid of SoW's reflective weakness and now you have a swarm of little... things... that simply cannot be touched.  Except for Flooding, but who uses that?

Flooding does not kill untargetable creatures.

So I've been messing with this deck since before it was a deck on the forums ... HATE the name wise vu btw ... and while it's not a duo I can only think to post this here ;)

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 6rv 6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 6u2 7n0 7q1 7q1 7q1 7q1 7q1 7q1 80h 80h 80h 80h 80h 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 8ps

The base deck had 3 card slots that I've tried EVERYTHING in ... precog - Hourglass - 6th Quint - Lobo / Discord / shields .... eventually I whittled away at my card collection until the 3 I settled on were Chaos Power, Fog Shield and Shard of Patience.  CP is another 1 cost buff and with all those novas it's usually a decent draw.  Fog Shield is a no brainer ...  SoP is the most situational but opening hand it's nice as well as VS SoSaC and sometimes reflect shields.

The one MAJOR failing of this deck is that either quint or deja is buried a LOT .... SoW draws fine and 2 of the 3 extra cards I've discussed seem to show up every game!  Elements needs a deck searching card or some form of deck manipulation BADLY!! However, I can't imagine how it would be implemented so that play doesn't CRAWL ...

Anyway, I hope someone will appreciate this version and maybe offer some feedback!

EDIT:  I replaced the SoP with a Long Sword ... and I'm VERY happy with it!

I assume u ran the fatty version through the simulator for FGs? I can't imagine this deck would do well against FGs without the stall at all. Got any actual stats for that?

aether pends are stupid, don't need more time, just use aether pillars
other than that looks fun
My default opinion of a new card is OP. Your job as a card creator will have to be to convince me otherwise.

Actually, you are WAY off base ... You need all that  :time and usually more ... whereas you only need 3  :aether most games ... sometimes 6.  Which is also why I use  :time mark and  :aether pends instead of the other way around ... so I get the  :aether burst and either turn 2 Deja or Turn 1 with Nova.

No deck will work just as well unupped as upped. This deck looks very fun to play, a good use of the deja-vu mechanic.
Be Happy!

I was about to post something very similar to this as a new deck idea, but while searching for similar already-posted decks, I found this thread, and am instead posting here.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6rt 6rt 6rt 6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 7q1 7q1 7q1 7q1 7q1 7qb 7qb 7qb 7qb 808 808 808 808 80h 80h 80h 80h 80h 81q 81q 81q 8ps

I made this deck for PvP2 not having seen this thread or heard of anything similar.  This version works great in PvP2 (I just finished a run of W:24/L:1 only losing to a guy who put up a jade shield), but I can't speak for how it would do in Arena.

After reviewing this thread here are some opinions:
  • The 6 Deja/Quint other decks use is too much.  5 encourages one in opening hand or early on, and discourages too many in opening hand or late game.  Could even drop to 4 Quint if you're feeling lucky.
  • Speed is one of the deck's biggest strengths.  Adding more speed with Precog makes it even stronger.  Plus, knowing if you will be facing SoSac is always helpful.
  • I had not thought of using SoFre.  I see it could get around reflective shields, but SoFre is a % chance, and the chance is too low without 3 or more in play.  In today's PC heavy environment, including 3+ permanents in your deck to counter something you almost never see isn't worth it.  If reflective shields start getting more popular than this will make more sense.Don't use SoFre.
  • The deck's combo is super fast, consistent, uses low quanta, and ignores most shields leaving rushes as your other biggest threat.  SoSac seems your best defense as it is very strong against rushes, requires no quanta to play, it's strongest counter (purify) is not frequently found in other rush decks, and you usually don't have to worry about the quanta wipe as almost no quanta is required late game.
  • It may be possible to use Thunderbolt instead of SoSac as defense against rushes.
  • Having no same-turn, instant, time quanta is a weakness.  Nova or Time Tower remedy this, but (so far) I feel SoSac or Precog is generally more helpful.
  • If you are having trouble bursting a SoSac using opponent from a safe-ish 70-80 HP to below 40 HP in one turn, Silence could be a helpful card to sub into your deck.
  • Don't use this deck as your Arena deck.  The AI makes some really, really stupid decisions when playing with these cards.  While mirror match testing with this as my arena deck I saw the AI split a 1/1 Quint-ed Deja-Vu, then on the next turn play two SoWis on the first split Deja Vu, followed immediately by playing another Deja Vu.  I cast Precog and he had a quint in his hand.
