If you use one pedulum, how do you use the nymph's effect after with no quanta?
I can use the quanta that has been gathered before I turn that Pendulum to Nymph: 1 activation costs only 3 :darkness, so in late game I can use it maybe some 2-3 times. But usually I just SoR that :darkness Nymph, so activating it wont cost anything.

I think the Darkness Nymph here is mainly for damage output, but in this version the damage output is more than enough,
also a 8 attack Turquoise Nymph is more direct, consistant and don't require SoR.

However, it's still fine as long as you keep the deck size in 31-32 cards.

Yes, that :darkness N. is 99% for damage output and 1% for additional "Lobotomize" effect.

It's true that my build is less consistent, but sometimes 8 :aether Nymphs attacking isn't enough, because of Improved Miracle and stuff like that.

I almost won Morning Glory with my deck yesterday. I got both :entropy and :water Nymphs SoR'd early, but then that darn "lose the card you just drew" bug stole my 3rd SoR! The last SoR was 2nd or 3rd last card on my deck, and when I finally had :darkness Nymph, SoR, and TU ready to boost my damage output even more, I lost to deck-out with 100 health and Morning Glory on ~50 after using 3 Improved Miracles. That's the most epic loss I've ever had, and solely (?) due to that bug.  >:D :'(

For those FG with Miracle, you should save some TU and NT on hand for finally strike to prevent Miracle being played.

agreed^
go with an "all in" approach rather than brute force
play no more than enough to contain the damage then save all NTs and TUs (usually 1 purp, 2 turq)
you might even want to AM your own critters just so they wont miracle (you can always reverse the damage again)

I don't have any SOR, but does that one card make any difference?

it's mainly a counter to quantum denial and for fun to use TU creatures' skill,
so it's fine to replace the SoR with a pendulum

I tried how cheap this deck would be un-upped, and how that version would work.

First I started new game in trainer with :darkness deck (selling cards from that gives you most coins). This is the deck you can build just like that:
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vo 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 5i4 5i4 5if 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 61o 61o 61o 61r 621 621 63a 63a 63a 63aThen after beating L0 and L1 opponents, you'll get enough coins to get another Mind Flayer, and then the deck is ready to grind Top50 or HB!

Not sure how much better the deck gets with 2nd Butterfly Effect, 2nd PU & 3rd Quint, but even that version was enough for me to get EM victory on the first HB match I tried. 8)

I haven't tried with the unupped version, think it may still work with a lower win rate.
This may become a "noob to FG slayer" guide if you prove it success. :D

I will suggest:
-1 water pillar
-1 amethyst pillar
-1 nymph's tear
+1 quintessence
+1 butterfly effect
+1 parallel universe
+1 mind flayer

Not quite "noob to FG slayer" but "noob to HB grinder in less than 1 hour" is possible. :P
I reseted my test account and built that deck. It took me some 15 min to get coins for additional cards and then I was able to try HB.
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vo 4vo 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 5i4 5i4 5if 5if 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 61o 61o 61r 61r 621 621 621 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a1st game: I lose to pure rush. Not enough coinst to try again ???, back to L2 again...
Then back to HB. 2nd game: Discord and rush, I lose.
3rd game: Quicksand to my :aether Pendulums and Stone Skins, I lose to deck-out.
4th game: I'm able to get my :entropy Nymph Quinted and HB helps me by playing Chimera right after that! I get EM win after using :water Nymph to make lots of :aether Nymphs.
5th game: Like 4th, first :entropy Nymph, then building army, win.
If you want to try this, use name & pass: test_12345

* edit *
Proof that this budget deck is able to win FG with ~ 5-10 % win rate:
Destiny got those 3 Nymphs from Fate Eggs it used.
