First thing I had to try with Seraph was a basic Immorush, of course. I noticed I needed more quanta due to their higher cost, however, and due to SoF's, so I added a 6th tower on the normal 5. Still, this is scary as hell. Who needs Explosion? 
(Light mark is necessary for protecting the Seraphs throughout the game)

Light mark isn't necessary. It just means that your RoL's aren't a good CC target. Which is funny because getting at Seraphs means taking out RoLs... Again. I prefer the Fire mark. Maybe I'm just silly though

As said, Light Mark is necessary for protecting Seraphs throughout the game. It basically gives ImmoPhoenix a ton more punch while maintaining the CC-resistance.

I don't really have any idea what the rest means. RoL's are never a PC target, and you can't get to Seraphs by killing Rays since I have Cremations and Light mark to protect them for the 4-8 turns it takes to win/lose.

I agree, Mark is necessary. RoL + Cremation + Fire Tower = 1st turn Seraph.. and you'll need that Mark to keep it out there.

*shrug* I find that getting the Fire faster is far better. If you're worried about Light, use more RoL's. Thus far, I don't any issues without a Light mark. I've always been swimming upstream though, so yeah.

Rays don't give you a steady income of at all due to CC, Cremation and quanta allowing you to play Seraphs before you have a good supply of . They also reduce your offensive power if you want more. That said, Light mark is not necessary if you're just rushing. That's not what I'm doing with this deck, or I'd have Dragons instead of Phoenixes.
