Ya they are there quick with SoR with the Squids and Steam Machine. They they can be used for lots of stalling.

Yeah, the SoR'd octapii can get out quick enough to halt a V2 fire rush in its tracks and win.  That says a lot on how this works.  A rush WILL NOT beat this.

Ha! beat this in the t50, and the AI had 3 SoR'd Squids and 2 SoR'd Machines  . And they were actually smart enough to use each every turn (suprising... ). Gavel Turn 1 FTW! and plenty of cremations bringing in new creatures, lol.

I quite like this deck.  Total lockdown (in numerous cases) for your opponent while you build up strength is simply evil.  Had I any SoR I would use it against the unsuspecting and watch the frustration build .

Edit:  Finally got the SoR and created this deck today; so much fun to play  .

Yeah each octapii can keep up to 4 critters locked down at a time once it gets going.  This gives steam machine plenty of time to go uber.  If they're not packing heavy CC it will be a long game.

Exploiting the "permanent freeze" aspect of this deck is remarkable.  Never would have thought about recasting freeze if you hadn't pointed it out beforehand; thanks jmdt .
