Thinking about it a bit, I think i would make a trio with death stalkers, as a single neurotoxic touch is enough.

IDK, maybe, just maybe, for the 12 shards?

Adding death stalkers will only make it slower, since you can't really mito-deathstalker like you can mito-sor-dune

Technically, it's not a duo, SoP is watermark

I tried several times to use SoP with dune scorpions and found it was not very efficient..

Also it seems the quanta will be a little stressed with the shards.

Technically, it is, because SoP is other and other doesn't count as an element

I'm not gonna add deathstalkers as well as nova's because I would need more quanta for deathstalkers (deathstalkers don't generate 2 new ones with SoR and dunes do and that makes the poison equal) ,and most of the time you'll have 1 pend and that's enough so nova's aren't needed.
In both cases it would become a trio

I still say -2 SoP +2 nova. Having 6 is a bit overkill, and a single nova can power all your shards for the game.

very interesting deck , was wondering first how to boost the scorpion very interesting use of shard of patience ( finally ) and of shard of readiness. I suppose a little sensible to shields ... althought a few SOP should overcome that.

Yes it is but the opponent doesn't play out shield in much cases if You don't have creatures
But still shields and cards like armagio can be a pain
