Hypothesis:

Photon is nearly completely useless. Therefore, you must use RoL. Because I am not a user of oraclebows, the deck should be built in such a way as to use :light, or use Cremation or Mutation. (Photon can be used if you want the latter two.)

Ghost of the Past cannot be played off a mark. Therefore, you must use Pillars, Pends, or SN to play it.

Drain and Siphon Life are cheap but do nothing without large influx of :dark. Therefore, the deck should generate :dark.

Results: A rainbow should be used, as trios requiring large amounts of quanta from all three elements are nearly impossible to balance. Because GotP costs a lot, the rainbow might use Mark of Time, possibly as a PSNbow. Because of the need for :dark, however, mulligan will be ruined in a PSNbow unless your source is Devourer. Also, Photons/RoL ruin mulligan.

GotP synergizes well unupped with Adrenaline. Wait a second... Devourer, of the same element as Siphon Life, synergizes well with Adrenaline too, doesn't it? So does RoL, come to think of it...

Conclusion:

Discussion: Hooray for draw instability!

SoSe is to pick up the unused quanta.

I use Leaf Dragons for synergy with RoL and because all the generated :light after Hope is unused. Life Nymphs are because I will have enough :life for them and because the deck needs LOTS of Adrenaline.

Between Hope and the Adrenalined Devourers, the deck can afford to wait a bit to draw 3xSN for its offense to come together.

Kill with Adrenalined GotP/Life Nymph and Siphon Life. Siphon Life is also useful as CC. Steal is there because any deck that uses Adrenaline will be vulnerable to damage reduction shields.

Mutate stuff.

No room for Nightmare.

I'm assuming it should be unupgraded, as the card is called photon, not ray of light.
The only good use I see for an unupgraded photon is immolating it.
The only synergy I see between an immo deck and using a damage spell like drain life (that will be weak without regular :darkness income) is if you profit from death effects (and have more weak creatures to kill than immolations).
The only synergy I see between having a ghost of the past and immolating a photon, is using the  :rainbow quanta generated to fund shards of readiness and mitosis (with the help of rustlers, who are also weak creatures you can kill for death effects).

So... Ended with rushed stale instosis version (shards are shards of readiness).

ps : of course using drain life on 1hp creatures is a total waste of quanta, but let's say those 2hp can save your life ;)
