This would fail against mono-aether. Nothing to target with RE/FL. Still, looks interesting. I never thought of fire being used as a defence.

It's actually a very solid deck even as a Mono. Even if it was up against Aether, you could still save up your bolts while having a Buckler up.  Fire for defense also makes sense, Rage Potions, Bolts, Explosions, Buckler, and Fire Nymph especially.

Personally, I like this kind of deck as a real duo-trio. This is a mono.

This deck is probably the main reason I'm doing so well in the CL. Beats most of the popular decks as long as it gets a decent draw. Very fun to use. Thanks for posting it, Uncle Jelly.

I'm glad you like it. I'm currently in the process of raising money to build this deck (fully upped), but all I have right now are the six SoGs, two upped Explosions, and two upped Fahrenheits. This is going to take a while...>.<"

I already had all the requisite cards upgraded except for the Rage Elixirs, so I put this together with unupped Rage Potions instead. It does seem to work fantastically against anything but FGs. Only on one occasion have I even bothered to want the extra boost from upping the Rage Potions, and that was only to get an EM one turn faster, so I suggest not spending the electrum. My main concerns have been wanting to get a shield faster or a replacement Fahrenheit in case mine got stolen or deflagged, but for those opponents to also have a reflect shield to stop a Fire Lance offensive is nearly unheard of. I'm going to test a 3rd Fire Buckler and see how useful it will be for dealing with HBs, but this deck is ridiculously fun and as good as advertised.

Cless, if you use it for PvP, you'll want the upped rage potions. There are a lot of creatures in PvP with six health, especially in speed rainbow decks. And if your opponent has an archangel and you happen to have a buckler out, you'll be really glad to have the upped potions.

That being said, they were the last cards I upped in the deck too.

the idea is working!
i made little tweaks, for example i am not so sure about rage elixir (i don't want to have so many anti creature cards in my hand)

so i mixed this deck with the one posted by revskank ( http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6529.0.html )

i know it's slower (less pillars,no fire mark) but it gives you better control and better chance of winning imho

No, it's not enough. You MIGHT stand a chance against Paradox and Chaos Lord (and maybe Osiris, if you can get a Buckler early), but not many others. Feel free to try it out.

First off, love the name. Second, the version you posted may be a bit more resistant, but with less direct creature control, I feel that you may be overrun in longer games, especially against HB's and rush decks. Needless to say, this deck was designed for PvP and Top 50.

i played my version for a while in pvp, but i have to admit it's too hard to build up red mana with so few pillars, and i ended up winning by deckout or after 30 turns .. lol

next week i'll experiment more with your deck and post results
