This deck is hard to fight.  :) I had to whip out my poison deck that doesn't use any shards to out damage it.

Why not throw in an animate weapon or two?  The way i see this deck running is your damage is almost solely inflicted by your farenheit, so why not fly 2 or 3 at once?  Maybe to keep it at 40 cards do -2 tower +2 animate weapon.  Other than that, it looks fun and effective, good job on that concept.

It's a stall deck, so wasting card slots on extra damage doesn't help the purpose of the deck. I have a similar deck, and damage is rarely a problem. When you have 100 :fire quanta, you don't need 2 fahrenheits really, you need control cards to live long enough to deck them out or win with a 40 dmg fahrenheit.

I've used this deck a lot and damage is never a problem.  Try it for yourself and see.

I'm glad you all like this deck. I've tried it myself with Animates Weapons, and found them entirely useless. Damage is never a problem, as you'll beat them down almost every single time. The only way that someone could outlast the damage is if they had an insane amount of permanent control, or were playing MrSexington's Rage-Quit deck (or the likes).

As for the Firestorm, safko01, it can be helpful in some situations, but I found them almost entirely unnecessary.

Now I need another 40k electrum to finish building this deck...>.<

MrSexington's Rage-Quit deck combo is based on aflatoxin and since this deck does not have any creatures, you should be fine.
the real problems are immortal shields that reflect damage from spells (i am personally against this type of mechanics -> unremovable permanents)..but whataver..
this deck doesn't work when they play mirror shield or jade shield...
(a deck strategy crushed by 1 single and undestroyable card, can you believe it?)

MrSexington's deck has so much heal with SoGs and SoDs that I simply can't outdamage its healing before decking out. As for the reflecting shields, Fahrenheit isn't reflected, so they really aren't that big of problems, because usually the decks that run those shields don't have much creature control.

if the shield is played you simply have no way to deal 160 damage in one turn.
without the shield you need 6 fire lances and ~100 red quanta to win easily...
as i said before, the major problem are mirror shield and jade shield :)

note: my discussion is just about the MrSexington's deck vs this deck

Killed me with this deck, Shrieker Rush with Rewind/Quicksand stood no chance. He wasn't even fully upgraded.

'Twas a fun game, too bad I had to leave early. =/ I'm working in the trainer with some slight variations, such as changing the mark to Entropy and using unupped Pandemoniums. So far, things look okay, but I seem to have a lot of unused :entropy quantum, so perhaps sticking with :fire is the best option.
