hello there ..

my  :fire sign deck above works in 33% of cases .. i wouldn't lie to you :p .. but it's still very enough for harvesting much more money then spent by unsuccessful attempts ..

i do this way about 20k coins per day by selling unwanted upgraded cards which i get by beating those false bastards ..

my strategy is ruined only when fighting against massive permanent stealing/destroying fiend.

regards, ntz

ps. i don't like a bloated decks. i was been trying long time with 30cards aether mono .. this deck would be good while saturated with some permanent protectors .. the base is immortal creatures and shields in the as short as possible deck combined with one of ::

- protecting own permanents
- molesting oponent's permanents

^^ i can't imagine a way to have combined both with aether deck which won't be then bloated

You shouldve just stuck to 30 cards and just used explosions instead of pheonixes.
I decided to "drop" back in

Why use Minor Phoenixes when all the other creatures are immortal? Minor Phoenixes are usually bait in my opinion. Better stick with Explosions.

They ARE bait. Would you rather Decay siphon your life or a phoenixes 1 hp, for example? Note that very little regen is present--only 2 SoGs. It's to avoid the spells targetting you, since that's pretty much what would get past the phase shields except for momentums. I would remove one phoenix but retain 3 of them since they have a strategic function.

Well, fair enough, but I don't see it having much of an impact with many of the other FGs, resulting in dead weight when the rest of your creatures are immortal. Sometimes its better to screw over the FG's hands with creature control cards, that way they won't draw two cards at a time. That said, I agree with four being too much.

I played a deck similar to this for a while with just the deflags and a rain of fire as an alternative to aether dragons+steal. It never seemed much more effective than mono aether.

well, i have tested a recommended rainbow deck without upgraded cards and it simply doesn't work like aether mono against false gods ...

i had:
6x immortal
4x phase dragon
6x dimensional shield
14x aether pillar

^^ you can also put there a few more cards like lobotomizer or parallel universe or so to have maximally 40 cards deck, or change a sign to fire/earth/darkness and have then few deflagrations/protect artifact/steal ..

regards
