I'm working in this deck and I believe it can be a good FG killer. It has only 34 cards so it is fast and it lower the chances of bad draws.
The deck works by summoning the scorpions only when you can unstope and quint them. The shards will be your healing and the phase shield will prevent the main damage.
Use wisely the hourglass. And aways keep 1 scorpion in hand to be reversed if you are running out of cards.

I'm open to suggestions about improving this deck.

After playing a little more with this deck I decided to make some changes. Quinting the Scorpions is not really necessary. So I added 2 Otyughts, changed some Time Pillars for Time Pendulums and added 1 Ghost of the Past and 1 Fractal.

The idea is playing the scorpion with momentum ASAP. The Oty should be quinted to avoid creature control. The GoP and fractal must be saved for the end to finish off the enemy. The deck seems to work great against AI5. I'm still working on statistics but I've played 35 games with 30 wins by now (about 85% win rate).

The new deck will be like this:

In general there is no reason to quint the scorpion.
Even if it dies the FG's draw power will be able to keep increasing the poison count anyhow.
If you take out the quints you can focus more on stalling.

I've noticed that after playing some more with this deck. Now I'm thinking about removing the Quint and the Anubis and putting the Pulverizer and some earth pendulums.

The only problem I can see is trios are pretty unstable, also you don't really need the second quint once you quint an Anubis

I've tryed this deck agains False Gods but it don't work so nice. But against Half-bloods (AI5) it is working nice. about 85% winrate so far. I'll keep updating the statistics.

Also, the scorpions don't need to be upped. And most cards used here can also be used in the famous I've GotP Time (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,22028.0.html) FG Killer.
