And I present you... a "Okay" deck.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vo 4vo 5l8 5l8 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5la 5lj 5lj 5lj 5lk 5lk 5lk 5mq 5mq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 8pj

And on to the stats.

Total games : 77
Won : 40
Lost : 37
Win % = 51,94805194805195
EM%  = 15,58441558441558...
Average TTW : 18,75

 TTW 23 : 3
TTW 22 : 7
TTW 21 : 2
TTW 20 : 7
TTW 19 : 4
TTW 18 : 2
TTW 17 : 6
TTW 16 : 5
TTW 14 : 2
TTW 12 : 1
TTW 11 : 1

Normal loss causes : Decking out (Happened once), early Fire/Thorn Shield/Carapace, Otyugh (Om nom nom!), Heavy CC, Heavy PC.

This deck is very dependent on the draw, I think, as you need a good amount of RoL's to get yourself going. I would only recommend this if you were in need of AI5 farming and already had the necessary upgrades.

Yeah, this is super quanta-intensive, having a QI of roughly 12 - that's way beyond typical mono-Aether.  Dropping just two dragons in favor of two more pillars would lower that to about 7, which is on par with mono-Aether and would get decent draws much more often.

Of course you've already done the study and the deadline looms... but it's still worth noting for anyone else who wants to use this deck.  :)

Problem is that would make me low on the attack, that is already trouble with early Perma or any other Shield. Making this deck bigger with 2 more pendulums (Which would help a lot) and taking out 1-2 dragons would help a lot, and I realized that as I was doing the test, but it was too late.

This is what I'd do: Hopes and Entropy out. Add more damage.

Wait. I did that already :D

The problem with your deck is that
  • if you get fast defense you get late offense which can be outhealed, killed, decked, and the defense is easily chrushable too.
  • if you get semi-fast offense (there's no such thing as fast offense with a QI of 12) your defense is likely gonna suffer.
So my experience says that an offensive deck with some stall (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,19328.0.html) is the kind of deck to achieve the best results (ttw/win rate combined) against HB's (yes, my deck is upped but even with only 12 upps I would've still gotten over 70% win rate and below 16 ttw)

They don't have to be Dragons, they could be Archangels or Crusaders with Discord.  In fact, Discord wouldn't be a half bad option for this deck.
