Question to the OP, do you ever use the warden's ability on the SoFo to let it gain more PC?
Hmm. To tell the truth that option didn't occur to me. Mainly for the deck doesn't need mass quanta denial as it can now deny swarms of creatures and six annoying permanents. But that sounds like a good trick against a mono-ae that fields immaterial stuff. Thanks.
(+rep)If only there was a cheaper all-permanent control for earth/water. It'd fit much better into this deck.
My thoughts exactly.
So... Deck version 1.1 is made, soon I'll load it into the OP too. It has a reworked quanta balance and increased PC control (
yes Sean, that means one more sofo - stone me)
-1 Poseidon -4 Water towers
+1 sofo +1 warden +1 Earth Pendulum +2 SoR
Reasoning: It's best if a Warden can come first turn, so it can start stalling a rush or a first turn sofo. Water pillars screwed the mulligan for that, so they had to go. Octopus still can come in the third turn with just 2 penduli drawn. Readiness counts as alternative quanta-generation - mainly it allows paying for abilities from the opposite quanta pool. Handy if only octopuses or only wardens come.
Poseidon also had to go, as it really doesn't have much use here - quanta denial is not needed. A third sofo took it's place for increased Eternity-Lobo-Pulvy-whatever protection.
Though -as Annele suggests- on a better draw and with a mean mood on a bad day it's acceptable order the Wardens to herd the SoFos out to the field to make them eat -everything-.
