Looks like an alright version of LS/AM.. but with my luck, I'll never draw any from the 4 :darkness sources, so I guess I'd use something similar to the modified versions posted here. Pandemonium would be very useful to use before AM, but it doesn't really fit into the deck theme. Too bad.

If you're going to use the Mutation as a pseudo-Lobotomizer, why not trade it for a Liquid Shadow?

First I want to thank everybody for replying.

... but with my luck, I'll never draw any from the 4 :darkness sources, ...
In the newest version there are 5. Plus you don't need to use liquid shadow in the first 4-5 turns, it is ok to wait a bit for that.

If you're going to use the Mutation as a pseudo-Lobotomizer, why not trade it for a Liquid Shadow?
Could be an option, but there are reasons not to. Mutation is not used only as a pseudo lobo but also to buff a small creature. Another very important reason (especially with my version) is that it uses entropy qanta instead of darkness (I think it is good to have a chance to lobo with either color).

I hate to be the first one to ask, but how well does this deck work unupped? Obviously CPs need to be upped or they're useless, but beyond that?

You'd get something that looks like Liquid Antimatter (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,17730.0.html), which averages ~18% normalized with lots of autoquits. If you stick the Chaos Powers in, you'd probably get a slightly better win rate.
