i tested this deck on the trainer for a while.

It has a 40% win rate, (oddly enough allt he easy gods) FQ, Elid, Ferox, are all almsot impossible because of feral bonds, rainbow also hurts, and so does octane, but everything else it has a change, DG is a cake walk.

In short, if nothing is changed tot he cards, i plan on making this deck for the hell of it.

I was thinking of switching from mark of Aether to Mark of Fire and replacing the SoGs with two Aether Towers and four Explosions. This way, you'd have a shot against all gods, although the overall efficiency of the deck would decrease. Anyone want to test this? I don't have the time ATM.

This deck have to much weakness to be a competitive deck... I mean your opponent just need a little bit of control creature cards (Othyug, Lobotomizer, Rain of Fire, Fire shield, Druid, etc.) to destroy your Rays of Light and you're screwed. Its a fun deck... but I really feel like I spent 30 000 bucks for a deck that have problem to beat lvl 5 opponent... :(     (sorry for my english I'm better in french)

edit: believe it or not, I have better result vs False god than vs lvl 5! (maybe I didn't spend money for nothing...)

In essence, you really only need 5 ROLs to block out most of her damage. Keep the rest of your RoLs in case she has out eagle eyes or whatnot that would destroy your ROLs.

This is what I consider a niche deck. It will not hold up across the board, but it is definitely effective in some situations. The same can be said of mono-aether and other novelty decks that work. :)

Hello.

       I think this deck is very interesting, I have tried this deck in the trainer against FG (only three games) and I have won two, but I don't know if it can work on the others FG. I would like to see stadistics of this deck, and his results against the differents FG before upgrading the cards to make this deck, because after all the nerfs, I have the feeling that my rainbow has lost much of his power and I am searching for an alternative.

Aren't dragons higher priority targets than RoLs for AI?

Aren't dragons higher priority targets than RoLs for AI?
More importantly, you would rather keep your field open for more dragons than have it full of RoLs that cannot dish out damage. :)

Interesting deck... btw adding a mirror shield helps against octane, as he can't detonate the gas...

Couple of questions

1. Has anyone tried this not on trainer as trainer seems to have gone weird with FG's recently and don't want to waste coins
2. What's the max amount of RoL's you'll need out to defend against pretty much all the FG's will throw at you.

I'm currently trying something very similar, mostly unupgraded (only RoL upgraded atm) without SoG as I don't have any. As expected it fares very badly against any god that poisons you.

Taking Elec really helps if you can get it out quickly enough.

The deck listed needs a few tweaks, but the idea is very good. I actually started doing this deck a couple days ago, didn't look at the forums, and just hoped no one had posted it yet, but i guess i was beat to the punch. My deck includes 2 electrocutioners, a couple less fractal, and some other minor adjustments. I find that 6 fractal are unnecessary because of relatively quick games, 1 dragon doesn't always make it out to the board and you often want to use 2 fractals on RoL so having a couple extra dragons is helpful. Electrocutioner is vital, getting rid of plague / infect monsters. obviously this is still susceptible to creature control en masse, but so far i'm 10-3 with 2 wins against hermes 1 against incarnate, i haven't totally been keeping stats. But here's my version of the deck

(also farming for the SoG can be a bitch but they're really a huge part of the deck and there are plenty of farm decks out there)
