mislabled arena deck league

When my arena deck level was 38 I posted a deck and it appeared to be in gold league. Which it needs to be level 40 to be in gold. It showed me in gold league when I posted the deck, but since then I've gone up in level and people say that's why it displays gold. Either way I feel it should show the level of your current deck, not a future deck.

You deck is in Silver league, see here on 21st place (at the time of my posting):

The interface says Gold because your current level (41) would place you there, so if you submit a new deck it would be in Gold.
But the deck you submitted when you were Silver stays in Silver.

FWIW, while Zso_Zso is completely spot on about why this is occurring, it is quite confusing contextually and I consider it a bug. All other information shown in the same place as the "league" item shows the currently submitted deck's information, rather than information for a new deck.

It is purely a display bug though. Arena decks will stay in their originally-submitted leagues until a new deck is submitted.

Yes, you are right, it is a visual bug, but if you read the OP says:

It showed me in gold league when I posted the deck, but since then I've gone up in level

Which is probably a typo, as it sounds like the OP believed the deck to be actually participating in Gold category.
BTW, the color ring of the submitted deck on the left is still correctly Silver, while the color ring on the right (would-be new deck) shows the Gold color, so both rings are colored correctly, its just the text label that is confusing and should correspond to the active deck rather then the potential new deck.
