I mean, let's say you wanna freeze a wolf with a squid. Does the squid die before or after freezing the wolf?

I would think so, as it would be resolved like this:

Otyugh devours Wolf 1 > Otyugh becomes 4|9 > Wolf 2 makes Otyugh 4|5 > Wolf 3 makes Otyugh 4|1.

The way I would imagine this sequence of events transpiring would be as follows:
The wolves are all chillin' in the woods, doing wolf stuff.  Then suddenly one of the wolves is devoured by an Otyugh.  The other wolves all snarl, growl, etc. then attack the Otyugh.  You could argue that the wolves would probably be able to see the Otyugh coming from a mile away, but this logic doesn't apply to something like an Owl's Eye or an Eternity where the attack would be too fast for the wolves to intercept the threat before it can do any damage.

Are the attacks targetting a person affected by a shield? Like, would an ice shield reduce the damage from each wolf's attack? Would it also have a chance to freeze each wolf?
Would each wolf be damaged if you yourself owned a fire buckler?

The idea is pretty sound, if not a bit tricky to work off, but I find the antimatter reaction interesting-by targetting a wolf when it's pack has been antimattered, you should, in theory, be able to heal yourself...
I like this idea: Life is barly even rainbow fodder, it'd be nice for the element to at least have something of a strong card to protect itself with...

I like the idea, hope it works!
I recommend in case the player attacks a wolf if he casts something onto one of them the wolf should attack the player itself.
The Shield issue i think should be resolved like described before that the pack ability should work as a reaction.

"Targeted" means anything that causes a giant target to appear when using the spell or ability in question.

Shields don't have a targeting screen, so nope.

Hmm. This is a great way to replace gravity pull. One question if bone wall is in play, it will not be effected because the targeter is under attack, correct?

... this would be a great card to BB + Pull (just make sure you put down the other wolves LATER)
