This card allows clever game mechanics. Maybe add a cap for damage transfer.
Card is useful, and with the right costs , it should be balanced. Not sure if it´s the best name for it.
I like the effect.

The damage is capped at whatever you can get from one creature.
The name isn't "Soulsteal" (as in theft) but "Soulsteel" (as in a metal forged from souls). I think it works fine.

Death fire combo anyone?
Using soulsteel upon fahrenheit will be pretty powerful espescially if targeting a crimson dragon.
Yep. This card will make :fire twice as powerful when death is involved

You exaggerate. This only moves attack that was already paid for. The only situation where it is different is when there is a second ability tied to how much attack something has like Vampire.

Yeah. OTOH I could see an Immo deck with Vampire Daggers and Soul Catchers working quite well... might be a new awesome AI3 grinder. Maybe something more, since you could go for Ruby Dragons and Protected Vampire Dagger with an attack in the 60s.
