I actually like the idea of 'disabling' a permanent from being used (rather than outright Stealing ( :darkness) or destruction ( :earth:entropy, :fire, :gravity)). Since it's not a very good way to deny the opponent quanta (as it only targets 1 pillar in a stack), you can't really use this against rainbows very well, unless they happen to magically draw one pillar only through a majority of the fight, where you can lock them down of their capabilities to play anything.

The concept is amazing - I was going to make a 'bird humanoid' myself, but if anything, this would be a good substitute. :)

(NOTE: Make sure you find the artist to give him credit if it's not your own or Royalty Free, because otherwise it won't be put into the Crucible methinks)

I tried to find the artist, but I couldn't find a mention of who it was.  The image was from a page which didn't credit it, and I couldn't find a place that did.  I imagine if it makes it far, the pic will get redone.  I think I remember SG or vrt saying something along those lines, but don't quote me on that.

To make it to the Crucible these days the art needs some acreditation. If you can't find an artist credit then put a link to the page you got it from in the art detail.

I think both of the card's cost should go up by 1, or switch their power/life, this is due to the pattern set out in the pre-existing air cards.  Aside from that, I can see this being used in some nice comboes :))

After thinking about this for a bit, I'm not sure whether I should up the cost or not.  I just have the feeling that 6 :air would be too expensive to play regularly.

Well, part of my goal was to create a good mid-range attacker as well as a useful ability.  That, and I don't want to have to edit the image anymore.  Can you show it's overpowered the way that it is?

Hmm, alright, I'll see if I can represent my thinking process properly

5 :air 5|4 + flexible ability Thunderbird (it can do a lot of things with its ability xD), it will get flight as well

4 :air 3|3 + fix ability Dive (dmg) Wyrm
3 :air 3:2 + fix ability of mana generation Firefly
10 :air 9|6 Azure Dragon

The higher end creatures seems to be Cost - 1 for their ATK, maybe that's the thing that's throwing me off xD

When compared to other elements, the thunderbird seems a bit more cost efficient on the damage per turn, survivability and flexibility of its ability.  I wouldn't say it is absolutely OP, but it would definitely become a favoured contender.  Abdomination at 5 :entropy, Flesh Spider at 3 :death 3:3, Graviton Mercenary at 4 :gravity 3|5, Blue Crawler at 3 :water, 3|3, etc.....  seems less desirable in comparison.

I see.  I'll play around with the numbers later.  It's late now.

Decided that I'd rather have the 5 att/hp the way they are than the cost, so I upped it by 1 each as suggested.
