Yes,I agree, but I wanted to make it the opposite. Since Eclipse adds Atk, Morning Sun will add Hp. At the same time, I wanted the two to be the same. Nightfall costs 4, Eclipse 3, therefore I made Sunrise/Morning Sun cost the same.

I was thinking about it, but decided against it. It IS a very good idea though. I think harikaze's version did that.

Indeed it is, but the main target of this card wasn't to be used with just Ray of Lights. It was made with the idea of being able to actually get a good use of Luciferine/ase and the White Nymph, besides a nice replacement for Light Dragons in a RoL/Frac. deck. Just imagine this card in a FFQ deck.. or even a frogtal deck! There are numerous possibilities with this card, just balancing is an issue. 3-4 card combo at best.

Nice and simple, but IMO it has only a very small chance (or none) to make it to the game.

Voted for OP, but that's not because the card is. It's because RoL/Hope decks are. :/
OK. Not really... this would work better with unupped FFQ decks. It might ever so slightly impact RoLs, but not by much. Most FGs have shields that block 2 damage anyhow. RoL Hope isn't OP, just get some creature control or quanta control (cough cough pestal)

You mentioned unionruler's idea to have them battle each other but I might suggest they alternate rounds. ie when you play sunrise and there is a nightfall in play you sunrise cancels its effect for your turn and you your opponents then at the end of his turn sunrise is cancelled until the end of your nest turn. and so on. and you could play additional sunrise/nightfall to steal back priority.

   Thank you! I'd really like to keep that symmetry.. But balancing it is such a pain.  It was like Eclipse at first, adding +2/+1 to all light and light emitting creatures.. But it was kinda OP, so I changed it to reflect Eclipse, yet stay the same cost wise..  I figured light and/or holiness is meant to preserve, not destroy. Although you could think of it as "smiting"... Iunno. I put up a new poll. Hopefully I can finally get it balanced.

I especially would like it that way from a thematic stand point. Day and night battling it out as they have for all time.

I... Like that... I like that a lot! Gunna add a poll on it. Thanks for the idea! That's genius! I got to thinking though. How long would it last? Like.. When it alternated,  it would last in that "phase" for x turns. X being the number of Sunrise/Morning Suns or Nightfall/Eclipses were in play. What do you think?

for fairness it would alternate after every 2 turns. 1 turn for each player under the sun and then 1 turn for each player under the moon.

(You could come up with some complex alternating patterns that might be slightly more fair. But I dont think its necessary.)
