Seiryuu is a mythological creature associated with Wood. So I wanted to make it hard to kill.

I'm thinking of changing the ability to +1/+1 for unupped and +1/+2 for the upped one.

With a bit of a cost increase as well, that sounds good to me.  Also, are you going to have Genbu, Byakko, and Suzaku, or even Kirin as well?  (Yes, I played waaaay too much FFXI a few years back )

This card had my vote, but it has a strong OP smell. yes  is supposed to have high pwr/hp for little cost but this is quite the leap. especially +2/+2 everytime targeted. how about making it activated? so that its max +2/+2 per turn? and only activated after it was targeted?

Very interesting card, but would that mean if you targeted it with a buff it would also gain the additional +2/+2? You could drastically increase it's power like that.

Sure you'd have to go duo but most buffs are cheap. Take blessing for example at a cost of 3 (2 upped), even if you only took a light mark every 3 turns the card would get +5/+5.

Chaos power would be even worse while it is an upped card it only cost 1 quanta for a random (usually decent) increase in stats meaning that even with only an entropy mark it would get a very large buff every turn.

I think it'd be better if it was only damage that activated the skill.

I aggree with AngeDeMort. The duos  / and / are already very strong but with this it looks just insane. Very abusable with buffs IMO.

Why does it fit life?
Why does the ability fit life (here I already have a hint)?
How does Seiryuu grow in the (your) mythology?

What is a Seiryuu?

Japanese mythological beast god that was ripped off of the Chinese Qinglong. Its name literally means "azure dragon". It represents the element of wood in Chinese mythology, so it fits under Life.

-I took the liberty of merging this topic with the original competition idea, so that you don't have the same card ideas in two different areas. ^^;
-Fix the COST section of the upgraded table so that it matches the image (it should be '8 ' instead of '7 ')

This was a pretty neat competition idea that I liked, since it can combine with awesome cards like Archangel (continual 'mini-Blessing'), Rage Potion (suppressed damage), or even Chaos Power (INSANE ATK|HP BOOST). If you can, try to fix the 'original' table and remove the 'new Seiryuu table' later down in your posts majofa, so that there aren't multiple tables for the card everywhere. ^^ Thanks!
