I'm not saying it's wrong necessarily, but why do you think this effect is most appropriate for :water ?

How would the AI treat the top card of your deck?
Would it react to it?
Because the thing I like about this card is that it is a double edged sword. You get to know what will come, but so does your opponent. Once it becomes only a benefit for you, I don't like it so much.

Also, why water? Or Mono water? This seems more like it should duo with time or entropy.
You're just as selfish as I am. You're just not as good at it yet.

I suppose it's water because it's a pool.

I love the idea, would be a great utility card.

How does it show the top card of your deck? As far as I know your deck is a tiny card icon with a number on it.

The symbol on the card is the symbol for a spell while the table says permanent. Just pointing that out :)

I really do like the idea, and it would be an interesting addition to the game. If you had multiple of these on the field, could you shuffle multiple times per turn?

Water has lots of Duo card. Would a  :water/ :time duo not be more appropriate for the effect?
I would ask why not have this be a mono :time card mechanically but Water does have the trait of adopting other elements' abilities.

Surely with a free cost, you can only shuffle your deck once a turn right?  I wouldn't like it if you could shuffle an infinite amount of times :o

...anyways LOVE this card idea, very nice man!

In backwards order:

Ajit, you're limited to once per turn, just like every other ability that doesn't explicitly say it can be used more than once per turn.

Everyone who asked, :water has been associated with scrying for the entirety of Western magickal history.  That a scrying-style mechanic would go anywhere BUT :water is just silly.  Time has precognition, which makes sense for time, but water is traditionally the element of seeing what's happening right now, just somewhere else (in this case, on the top of your deck.)

Thanks for the catch, ddevans.  I'll fix that.

Skyclicker, it shows the card's title (only) underneath your deck icon.

Onizuka, the card is only face-up for the player that owns the Scrying Pool.  The other player doesn't see it at all.  Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Yes this is true but does the shuffling or reordering the time you will draw cards fit water? That is why I think this is more appropriate as a Duo card (well Duo unupped anyways). This would strengthen the theme of  :water :time synergy this card already creates.

As for scrying in magical history it was commonly associated with any reflective surface that could hold an image including water, glass and metal. However you are right that this fits a Water card more than a Time card. It would fit a duo far better.

I personally think that the cost could be decreased but this shuffling effect is one that I always underestimate.

. . . Mind changing the 'Spell' symbol into a 'Permanent' symbol? Also... Meh. The water ability could fit the title 'Distort,' meaning you distort the surface of the water, and send pulses into your deck, changing things.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.
