I don't agree, for stealing a permanent (with steal) is much cheaper than copying a creature (with TU).. Same goes for explosion..

True, true. However, you could use this to copy your own. For instance, you could use this on your own mindgate or unstable gas.

You got a point too :) then I think we could agree about the fact that this card should cost a bit more, although not as much as TU?

1 more for each version would probably do it.

The reason I used mindgate and gas as my two examples are
1) if you are aether, you very well may have mindgates, and multiple mindgates often = ownage
2) gases do 20 damage. If you clone them, that is a large chunk of health right there.

I see your point. So yes, 1 more in each version should do the trick.

Hmmmmm, it is hard to say.  :(

1) Multiple Mindgates costs a lot of aether quanta to run each turn, i think it is more of a good synergy than being OP.

2) Unstable gas can be imba with this card but still that combo requires 3 elements. I doubt whether its abusable or not in a real game. Currently, i see it as a cool strategy.

I am not sure. I am more of a confused right now. It's difficult to compare this card to TU since creatures can be buffed a lot and then be copied. But for permanents you can't do that.   :-\
My real-life sucks. So i come online to compensate that.

Yup. Back to topic, Nick, do you think the card's cost is not worth being raised?

I think that this card is only imbalanced when you consider Unstable Gas.  :(

Is it right to consider balancing a card just for combo with a single card while it is balanced with rest of the entire cards ?

No of course. But I don't see it breaking the game in said case, there are better combos.

So, to sum up, the card should either be left as it is or at most have its cost raised by one.
