I don't have the file anymore, but IIRC it was something along the lines of: "many 3 turns, many 4 turns, some 5 turns, some 7 turns, one loss due to quanta managing failing".

The thing is, you don't really mind the flashes, you generally can manage to get the right quanta (although you can be unlucky. You care only about the order of the 7 non-flashes cards. Novas on the bottom result in slower (but somewhat sure) games. Deja Vus on the bottom mean slower games and possibly no Time quanta left to play them. A Deja Vu, an Epinephrine, an Unstoppable and a Nova as the first 4 cards mean you are almost sure to get a 3 turns win.

How exactly does one go about making a flash become dark?  :P

I'd change 'Gravitometric Flash' to 'Gravitational Flash'.
Gravitometric means 'which measures gravity'
Gravitational means 'which belongs to gravity'

In order to prevent abuse you can have it draining 1 quantum per element and then add 4 quantum in an element.
Pros
  • Rainbows would pay 12 quantum
  • Affordable for monos who want to splash
Cons
  • Monos could use its elemental flash to rush faster
  • Every successive flash is less effective than the first

I worry about this making PVP entirely a mono-rush game.  It won't change the game against False Gods much, though.

EDIT:  Actually, check that.  It will definitely speed up control Rainbows as well.  It would help opening up with Electrum Hourglasses/Sundials earlier, allowing the player to gain control faster.

In general, I think these cards really speed up the game in pretty much every type of deck.  Whether or not that is a desirable trait for Elements or not, I leave up to the more experienced players and developers.

I think its OP:
In any mono deck, this would be as good as having no card, save you from discord and allows mega fast 24 card decks!!!!

these should be made, they are great cards that add a lot of deck building possibilities. you could make a good pillarless deck or splash them into other decks, very good card, perhaps it could be a bit more expensive to use, maybe 2 for 1 then 3 for 2, so 6 normal and 4 upped. good card.

i love it, there will be many new kind of decks rounding the game with this cards on. Maybe cost 5 gain 3 for unupped and cost 4 gain 3 for upped, as 3-3 seems a bit overpowered. Although, NICE

i really like the idea of this series. why? because it reminds me of some MTG cards like dark ritual, pyretic ritual and other such cards.

i would love to see this in game because it would help some rainbow deck and decks with 3-4 elements in it to be able, for one turn, to focus on a certain elements for a turn.
in play, i highly recommand not to play more than 2 different element a turn because then it would just lead to nothing.

it's basically quanta focus. which is great, situational (but comes up quite oftenly imo) and the extra card just balances out the fact that the card is not entirely wasted and get a card that the quanta can be used on.

Ex(rainbow deck): in-game flip: you win the flip.
mark:  :entropy
cards in hand:3 Quantum towers, 1 electrum hourglass, 2 supernova, 1 entropic flash.
pull out 3 Quantum towers (quanta received: :aether :darkness :darkness :fire :time :fire :air :death :gravity)
pull entropic flash(quanta count: :entropy :entropy :entropy :time :darkness :gravity :aether :air :fire) and draw a card (card drawn:pulverizer)
pull your 2 supernovas (quanta count: :entropy :entropy :entropy :time :time :time :time :time :darkness :darkness :darkness :darkness :darkness :aether :aether :aether :aether :aether :air :air :air :air :air :fire :fire :fire :fire :fire :gravity :gravity :gravity :gravity :gravity :life :life :life :life :light :light :light :light :water :water :water :water :death :death :death :death :earth :earth :earth :earth
at this point you can pull your  pulverizer and have a handy amount of :gravity to be able to smash the next few permanents if your towers are in agreementwith it at least
and you got your hourglass ready for a card next turn

Note: this is just speculation. many other things can happen. this is a given example.

This would help rainbows, and gets progressively less good as you decrease the elements in the deck, down to 1 deck space cost per card in a mono. It isn't 'free,' it takes up a deck space which can be used for something else. I think it would help my fire-bow speed deck a lot, but it's completely balanced.

Here is why this deck wont work... cremation decks would then turn into 3 to 2 turn killers...

Cremation gives 9  :fire and 1 to everything else... You flash and get 3 more  :fire.. you got a ruby dragon out with essentially 3 cards...  cremation decks will be so efficient and fast that nothing besides pure control could combat them
