Psy Butterfly | Psy Butterfly, Cocoon | Cocoon

What if the psy butterfly had those stats: N|2 (maybe 2N|2 or N|4 upped) N being the number of butterflies on the field. This way you can put BE on it if you have less than 3 psy butterfly ... That's not perfect but that's a solution.

OK I've played with the numbers, lowered costs and increased HP healing benefit to hopefully not make it UP.

The biggest change I've made is that now, when you use Butterfly Effect, it creates a new Psy Butterfly and gives the old Psy Butterfly the ability Destroy.

Cocoon is the only way to get Psy Butterfly.  I plan to keep that in this combo here.  So the goal would be to make Psy Buttefly powerful enough to make the extra Cocoon step worth it.

Therefore, my thinking is; make Cocoon UP, and Psy Buttefly OP'd to balance it out.

Flawed thinking. Psy Butterfly is currently balanced for its casting cost and evolve cost. I do not want to see another OP Graboid.

Either option 1 or 2 will be sufficient for your goal of keeping Cocoon.

Alright you're slowly convincing me, but if Psy Buttefly is "balanced", I assume you are taking into account that you can't get this card directly? (like you can't have this card in your deck)

Correct. Psy Butterfly is balance when evolved. It would also be balanced if available like Shrieker. Unfortunately Cocoon in UP (short time span I know but important) for no reason.
