Be careful: You can not target a creature with more than 2HP with BE ...

Oh darn, I thought you could normally target a high attack creature and it just wouldn't do anything..  I could change it to where Psy Butterly's ability is activated if Butterfly Effect is played anywhere on the field.

Hm...

It appears that this card isn't quite as finalized as I would assume, so I'm not going to -quite- move it up into the Crucible just yet (the formatting looks good, but the mechanic is illogical according to SnoWeb, unless you're going to Antimatter it to get it below 7 attack). That said though, I feel that you should probably add a name to Psy Butterfly's "passive skill" when targeted by BE - I don't know what it should be called, but it would be similar to the Mummy and Voodoo Doll descriptions for their passives.

hmm OK I see what you are saying.  I wonder if exceptions in the code can be made for this card to be targetable by Butterfly Effect?

If not, then the only similar idea I currently can think of is that if Butterfly Effect is used on the field at all, then Psy Butterfly would duplicate.  I think this might not be too UP, because although this means adding another card for the combo to work, it also means that a single Butterfly Effect could produce multiple Psy Butterflies depending on how many there were on the field to begin with.

A targeting icon would appear over Butterfly as well as other potential targets, and assuming I interpreted the card right, it would trigger either a PU or Mitosis-like effect.

The problem with the bold part above is that Butterfly Effect cannot target creatures with 3 or more attack (this is confirmed), similar to how spells cannot target immaterial creatures, or how Otyugh's "Devour" ability can only target creatures with less HP than it, etc. Your idea of how it could work I understand, but for all general purposes, we should try to maintain the current in-game mechanics and not try to force 'exceptions' into the game play coding/system. ^^;

Except for fitting it on the card, one way it could be done is that Psy Butterfly deals an extra 5/6 damage when it attacks (similar to hammer/gavel). That way it's targetable but still does the damage.

Like I said before though. I have no idea how you're going to fit that on the card.

While I like the idea, I'm thinking you made the relation to Butterfly Effect because of the name. But the origin for that card doesn't  have much to do with actual butterflies - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly_effect

I also don't see why a butterfly would have so much attack. I would lower it to 2 attack so it could be targeted normally by BE.

It is because of the name.  I am aware of the concept of the Butterfly Effect, but to be fair, the Butterfly Effect card has a picture of a butterfly.  I could potentially lower the attack, and make its ability more worth while, thanks for the suggestion.

@QuantumT that is another good solution, although tough to fit as you've said.  I'll think on this.

Well, the effect doesn't seem to be all that worth it if the spawned creature is so low attack as well. Although the heal ability is nice.

On second thought, I think lowering the attack would not make it UP.
