Also I think this would work better if the unupped cost 5 for a 5|5 with an ability of 4 for a 4|4.

Epic idea. Might want to change the name to Nesting Doll. And change the effect to something like this..

"5 Separate : Generate a Nesting Doll with X|Y.  X is the attack of this creature -1 and Y is the health of this creature -1."

And if you ask me, It should also be a different element. Darkness and Aether get all of the interesting cards and Nesting Dolls don't seem so dark to me.

I agree that this does not feel Dark. However I think the original ability is easier to balance rather than having to factor in blessing and chaos power.

I agree. Perhaps it could work with life, the ability and card just seem to fit in my eyes for some reason.

Why Darkness?
-Russian Dolls hide others... and I think all the hide stuff is for Darkness xD
-In Darkness you already have a doll (Voodoo Doll) so, unless you think you should have only one kind of card (like scorpions) by elements, It could fit IMO.
-I don't know which other one could fit better? 
  It doesn't Duplicate/Make an illusion/Summon from a parallel universe other Dolls...

  [Growth] Perhaps but Dolls are not living so no.
  [Ignore opponent] Perhaps. It does ignore the opponent and due to its resilience it will partially ignore CC. Also it is N|N which is a pattern in Light. <-- Second best option
  [Time manipulation] No. It is in the present not the past.
  [Distorted reflection of other elements. Synergy] No. It is mono orientated and not aquatic or amphibious

Yes i agree, I'm going to change unupped to 5 for 5|5 with skill 4 for 4|4 and upped same cost but with +1|+1.

Ok about the name, Russians have nothing to do in Elements The Game^^ I'm going to change to Nesting doll.

I'm sorry but I can't agree about the skill, it doesn't duplicate with -1|-1, it generate a X|X doll depending of the original size. Even if you bless your doll and get a 8|8 or a 5|2 because of a RoF the skill is the same and give always a 4|4 doll. You should think a nesting doll "protect" the other dolls inside^^

I'm sorry but as you can see in my "Why darkness?" reply I doesn't think Life could fit. Nesting dolls aren't living creature and Life already has Mitosis in development...



Edit: As me, PlayerOa and OldTrees think Light could fit I'm going to make the change.

Don't worry if you don't see any change of these cards now, I shall make them all at the same time, before submitting to crucible.

I agree that nesting doll is a better name than Russian doll.  After all, they are the same thing.  As for the element...  uhh... maybe entropy?  The entropy of the universe is always expanding and multiplying JUST LIKE THESE DOLLS!  Cool mechanic though.

I guess Light can work alright as it would create two opposing dolls.


Frankly creature multiplication is clearly a Life element's skill. Firefly Queen, mitosis etc use  ... I like the idea of having dolls in opposite elements though.

The term is 'matriochka  doll'.  

I like the idea, but it should be 'create a new doll with the same stats -1|-1'.  It should also start smaller (a la Deja Vu) and beg to be buffed.  I agree with the choice of , thematically.
