Were it my card, I'd claim artistic lisence on the grounds of there being little else it could do to be effective in a card game.
Also, "Masochist" has no zed.

I know someone has already taken the word zealot for a new card proposal (probably several times over), but it seems like it might be a more appropriate name with regards to the mechanic that you're proposing here.

It is allowed - I had a Stopwatch card in the crucible, as did someone else. To tell the difference in the polls, under the image Kuro or another curator added a note. Also note that they had different upgraded names, so I'd say don't use all the same names - have something else to refer to it as.

Why are you so impressed? It was obvious Martyr would made it to the Forge, since it is a very cool idea and widely supported by the community.

Eh, I think you should make the healing decrease attack, because you're helping the martyr so he becomes more friendly.
Retribution: Any DMG done to Martyr is added to it's attack, vice versa. If martyr dies, deal DMG equal to its ATK.
Also, congrats for armory.

Yeah I've given some thought on how that would work, but if that were implemented the card would become too UP. The amount of healing cards in this game are relatively limited wouldn't occur by accident. Without the ability to heal it and maintain it's effectiveness, the card can no longer have a deck be built around it and the downside of taking the damage equal to its attack becomes overkill.

however while there isn't any space left on the card, maybe something that changes its maximum hp dependent on how many times it has gained attack or what its maximum attack is might be interesting. I'm not even sure if i can make any significant changes to the card anymore in the armory though...

Interesting concept but too similar to the angel cards which are already in the game. Basically the only way for you to take advantage of its effect is if you damage it, because if your opponent does he will most likely kill it that turn unless he made a mistake. That's basically how rage pot angel decks work. It's a different card but seems to play like a cheaper angel with an added drawback.
