i like this and i think it would do well in game. As far as fractal worries go I think we should come up with a good idea that solves fractal problems but at the same time not make it our only focus.

well for sentient ant, i made an "individual" passive tag which prevented it from being copied.  but that is a bit of a pain to explain on every fractal card, takes up a line of text.  and thematically it doesnt fit with every card that would be desired to be anti-fractal

Nice idea, even though not THAT original :D

I wonder if the skill is passive, I mean, not affected by lobo (vampire is active, for example)
I think this is important to remark, but by the text, it seems active...

By the posts so far, it seems like it's an active ability.

I think I'd be less concerned if the cost for both was 3.

Also, if the quanta pool is empty does it just do nothing?

yep, assuming it hasnt been lobo'd or AM'd, it will do nothing

if the cost was 3 for both, what would the difference between the two be?  i considered having it be 3 for both and increasing the atk, but i thought people would have more of a problem with that than -1 cost

OK, then that's another difference between this and the devourer...

Either lower the unupped one's hp by 1-2 or buff the upped one's hp by 1-2. I lean towards the first personally.

I hate quanta denial mechanic in the game (and aether overall, but thats another issue), but this one is good. Simple card, can be countered in several ways, could actually help Mindgate decks slow down its opponent until setup is ready. Nice.

this card is epic, the fact that is is similar to pest makes you think, why would I want this, but this 'steals' more quanta, but also is not OP due to it being aether and fractalable as easily, also unlike pest it doesn't attack directly...
so there won't be a time when you go, should I use this or Pest, but you will be going, I can take both of them, because they are both unique!

Being aether actually makes this worse with fractal, as it can be run in a mono. Not to mention the fact that each one of these you play cancels out 2 of the opponents towers, meaning that fractal probably isn't even necessary to lockdown your opponent. This card will easily lockdown any deck that doesn't use quantum towers.

AGREED.  word for word.  If you do decide to go duo-, you could make it Light, and start blessing this thing and take away 5 at a time!

Basically, this card with an entropy mark would give reliable lockdown on turn 2. Turn 1 play some towers and this. Turn 2 play chaos power off the mark on mana worm, and you're now on average negating 4 towers and the mark. With 2 cards and 3 total quanta!
