NOTES:
Multiple magnets stack on top of each other, like bonewall or pillars, to prevent them from protecting each other.
If you protect a magnet, it's effect stops.

Cloak and Earthquake? Majority rules. (See the Polls.)

SERIES:

An alternate form of Permanent Protection. I'm open to suggestions for a better element to put this mechanic in, with a different name/theme to go with it.

For example, Aether could have this card as "Spell Ward" or something similar.

:3 awesome.

I definitely see why this one goes in Gravity.

However... while I'm a noob at decks, isn't the most common gravity duo with earth, who already has some permanent protection?

Soo... hmm I'll edit this is I come up with a good theme that would fit elsewhere.

. . . Ultimate PA for Cloak? hmmm... By simply having this on the field, you can chain Cloaks without having to worry about them being destroyed (stupid AoE's). It's interesting, to say the least.

Umm... quick question. Does having 2 Magnets on the field make every permanent permanently invulnerable? One Magnet protects the other.

I...love...this idea.  It just brings up so many possibilities.  Can't wait to hear what card curators say.

I like this card! It's like PA, but for all your cards, with the limitation of it being destroyed as well.   One question though - would this be affected by Cloak, and/or targetable by Earthquake?

That's up for debate as far as I'm concerned.

It affecting cloak would give birth to a very strong combo, but it would require splashing or running a rainbow.
At the same time, it would encourage use of AoE spells, which we see less often.
Since cloak lasts only 2 turns, I wouldn't think it would be too OP, as the chain would break rather easily, so my current standing is why not.

In terms of Earthquake, I would like to see it not get targeted by it. 3 Magnets gone instantly from the stack is quite a lot in terms of protection, but at the same time, it might be too much to have earthquake completely denied by it.
On the other hand, Earthquake is seen as a borderline OP card, and a minor nerf like this might be good for the metagame.

Those are my thoughts, but I will put up a poll.

No. They stack on top of each other, so only the one pile will be targetable. That way, they don't protect each other (Mentioned in notes)

But it still works with Cloak chaining, correct? Cloak hides Magnet, Magnet protects Cloak. This way, you only need 2 :gravity and you can start chaining up to 6 Cloaks without worrying about anything except AoE spells.

As I said, it's up for debate.

As far as I know, CIA card ideas change drastically by the time they hit the game anyways, so balance can always be determined then, if it ever gets that far.

It's the concept that counts :)

Its an OverPowered version of Cloak ( the  :darkness card )  - lasts untill destroyed and isn't weak to Fire Storm , Also cheaper  Quanta wise ::)

EDIT: oops , forgot that Cloack also protects creatures .
Ok then , Raise the cost of Magnet , 6 unupped 5 upped ( only because PA ).

Yeah, but it doesn't hide your creatures. :P

It's balanced. After all, It's a temporary PA on all your permanents. Gravity has what? 4 permanents total? It's good that it costs gravity, because it makes a duo necessary to pull this card off.

At 2 :gravity | 1 :gravity you can use it in a rainbow ( just 1 SN to cast ) , up the cost and its a fine card 8)

Simple. Let it last 4 turns and raise cost.

Earthquake should not be able to target this and facing an enemy with Cloaks and Magnets will not be that hard.

You --can-- still attack the enemy.

Alright.

I will change the cost to 3/2 and then submit it then.

EDIT: Done. :)

Almost ready. ;)

CURATOR COMMENT
-Please provide the page where you found the artwork, and not a direct image link. This makes it easier for Curators and others to see the source you got your image from easier, as well as making any corrections regarding copyright (none broken in this case I think...) more objective.

I get a -very- weird feeling about this card. In a good way; I honestly think that Earthquake SHOULD target this, because they smart opponents will actually juggle a combination of both magnets and lodestones (the non-upped and upgraded form) so that against a hardcore opponent with :water-:earth synergy and Poseidon will still take a long time to target the lodestone/magnet stacks. But that's just my opinion. ^^;

Done.

I really don't know what to think about earthquake now, so I'll just leave the polls up as they are.

I might've looked over it, since i'm kinda tired,
but if you PA this Lodestone, doens't it means that all of you permanents are protected/indestructable?

...
I forgot about that lol.

I guess if you protect a magnet it's effect ends. I don't want it to be that broken.

Be careful with balance issues, but I really like the concept for the card.
