this is pretty OP with fractal.  it can do in either a Rol-Hope deck or a Fractal-Spark deck.

RoL would be useless to spark deck but it gives hope another block AND if you get a spark late game with RoL you can fractal it for some quick nuke if you dont have enough for dragons.
I highly doubt it. RoLs generate :light, so you'll have an insane amount of :light piled up in your quanta pool in endgame. You should be able to play all 8 dragons in one turn.

As I said before, if you really want to make a Spark Fractal deck, then just use Sparks. They cost zero, can be played immediately, have no delay, and are not duo elemental. This card with Fractal is really not as OP as you guys think.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Do players have control of which will be generated, do RoL and Spark take turns, or is it pure random?

If its random, I find it stupid because its not really a "fun" random like mutation or chaos seed, its just unnecessary random.
If they are taking turns or are player controled, I dont understand why would we need a permanent generator of two cards.

I guess I just dont like the idea behind the card.

Hmmm... cool card!  Fits with the fractal theme.

Also: Awesome card name!  I was about to be all...

Quote
Euchhh (Pronounced like EWW but with more phlem)

That is an awful card name.  It's worse than "onerous swarm", which made me have several conniptions every time I saw the thread.  If you know what that word means, then you know the name has nothing to do with the card and was in fact chosen because it has the word "one".

You have the same problem.
But then I looked the term up on wikipedia.

I don't think there is anything wrong with this card.

It's random, 50% chance for either.

Read Icybreaker's post as to why this isn't a problem with Sparks.

As for RoL-Hope, if it doesn't have a pretty high counter something bad happened and this would allow it to (maybe) recover. Which is a good thing, because one card shouldn't be able to take out a whole deck. There are enough of those in this game already.

If Hope does have a high counter one more isn't going to make much of a difference in terms of winning against an FG/saving your hair.

T-Up from me.

why not have it generate immortal ball lightnings. this way the only thing affected is the ability to fractal it. Since ball lightnings have 0 hp they go away @ the end of the turn. therefore if summoned as immortal the only (productive) thing that could be used upon it would be fractal (and maybe blessing but why use blessing on ball lightning in the first place anyway?)

Why? This isn't OP with Fractal, because you can just use normal Fractal Sparks anyways. And it doesn't even make RoL-Hope that much stronger, since this is vulnerable to permanent control.

I think it is suitable because it is only burst damage.

It's at times like this when I want Kael Hate to walk in with his awesome spreadsheet thing and see if it really is overpowered ;)

I don't think it's all that overpowered. Over 12 turns, it can generate an average of 6 Ball Lightnings. With 2 of these out, you can generate 6 Ball Lightnings in an average of 6 turns. That's pretty slow. Plus, it's pretty expensive. Why not just put Ball Lightning in your deck?

Meanwhile, one way to nerf it is to change the percentages for their generation. Say, 75% RoL, 25% Ball Lightning.
agreed that makes it seem more much more plausible

I second BS 0.o
I mean seriously people.
You play 7 :aether followed by 1 :light per turn JUST to generate ZERO cost creatures ><
If anything, it should be buffed ><
