Really like the card. If it ever hits live, it could have a huge impact on deck building.

I'm starting to think that you want pillarless rainbows that SoR their way to wins over FGs. Kinda oppose this card for that reason. The 6 copies of a card limitation is the key here--instead of carrying just 6 supernovae, we would be able to carry 6 Implodes as well, although as stated earlier they are in fact weaker. Nevertheless, this gives us strategic possibilities that I would like to think were and are intentionally kept away from us. Changes the game too much, I'd say.

Would this really be terribly effective for rainbow decks? Having 6 quanta generated from a mono tower is like 6 turns, but for quantum towers its only 2 turns worth of quanta. I realize it would minimize the amount of towers and give faster quanta at the beginning of games, but if you're making a small rainbow or you need eternity to rewind your deck, there's very little sustainability. I'd say that this card is fairly balanced and would help mono's more than rainbows - something I'd say is good to do.

Imagine a life rush, its creature damage potential is almost surely enough in 7 turns, so saccing your pillar (it cannot be destroyed or stolen) is actually a bonus. So, you can play all your frogs/cockatrices in turn 1.

Probably others will come up even better ideas.

uhm i'm about a revolutionary idea

how about
Sacrifice a pillar
Get 6 quantum of specific type(quantum pillar still spread 6quantum)
Get 7 quantum if it is a tower
Draw a card!

Well if you played it upped and use an upped tower thats 8 quantum, still less then cremation and no added bonus to all quantum but still good in non fire rush, 1 life tower, this and you could get 4 giant frogs out first turn easy.

I had the exact same thought.  I think it would work with whatever element the Pendulum is.  Time Pendulum, even if its giving you gravity, should give you time quantum.

What I was thinking would happen but just wanted to check.

or... even better... it evenly divides up the quantum.  In the upped version the Time Pendulum gets four time and 3 gravity instead.  I'm not sure but Pendulums could be divided up or go one way.
