Okay i think the best way to balance this is to make it only last 4 seasons (1 year...) and then it disappears.

You play it, it runs through each season once for a total of 4 turns, then disappears. Cost goes up to 6/5 or 7/6?. Reverse time would not affect it as people think this would make Time too strong.

I could keep the cost "quanta of the same element" or I could change it to "quanta of your mark"? what do you think?

Kael Hate, Kuroaito, PhantomFox, opinions?

Bah, I feel unspecial. ;)

I like the concept and art, though I'm not sure mono needs a nerf (they need to be buffed, really).

Erp, the card's cost is too cheap, maybe 7/6? And the effect is too UP, maybe add boost for the creatures that have the same season??

This is card is so deliciously amazing. :P

I love it. Because of how it works, the player who uses it needs to be VERY careful on the timing of their card use, because otherwise, they'll end up ruining their own strategy (being able to play the creature they own). The thing that would make it potentially overpowered though is if Four Seasons applied to -all- cards, not just creatures (Spell and Permanents couldn't be played unless the card was in your season accordingly), but then it would also bring up even crazier strategies when trying to use it...

I can imagine a lot of people getting frustrated though and then being forced to discard because it wasn't Winter or Spring yet.  ::)

EPIC Idea!

One question, what use is it in decks? It seems like it just makes it hard for you and your opponent to play creatures.

I like this card just for the fact it can backfire.  Nightmare makes a GREAT combo with this card.

i think this is too op
this would kill mono rush decks
it's pretty much a three turn stall against mono decks

Mono's could still play weapons, build up quanta and drop a bunch of creatures at once. It is balanced because it can backfire against the person who plays it.

This actually would make an interesting combo with the recent Ghost of the Past, because this could force a discard, which is where GoP comes in.
