Fire needs a way to get back at water...although parka in a good setup would still waste it xD
Parka in a good setup would freeze this guy every turn unless you packed CC to kill the octapii.

Honestly, if you're winning, your best to leave him alone and stay weak and focus on the rest of the field.

This card may be useful only if played alone: otherwise the enemy will target your other creatures... It's a nice card, could be inserted in the game without breaking its mechanics I think

-You need to type out the word, 'Fire', in the Element section, and not use the icon. ' :fire' means Fire quanta, and not the element Fire. The two are not interchangeable
-You need to add the appropriate quanta icon after the card's Cost section in the table (using ' :fire') - as it is now, the table states that it costs 4 generic quanta, which is difference from the card image
-Capitalize 'creature', in the Type section
-Use the pipe or divider symbol, '|', to separate the values in your ATK|HP section. It needs to match the image - do not use a slash symbol, or '/'
-Fix the discrepancies between the table and card text (switch the words 'only' and 'last' around)
-Add a link for your card art in the 'Art' section of the second table
-Please add your name in the 'Idea' section of the second table




...okay. That's a lot of corrections, but I believe that you'll address/fix them all. ^^;;;

So I'm guessing 'slowing' effects (Basilisk's Blood/Delay and Freeze), strong shields (Dissipation, Phase, Hope, Bone Wall), and Sundial (prevents attacking) would cause Inflame to trigger, correct? I guess stalling effects wouldn't work well against this card at all - direct CC (like Rewind, Infect, RoF) would be the best way to take these creatures down.

That said, I think the card's cost should be increased dramatically. The un-upped needs to cost at least 5 :fire, while the upgraded can be more or equal depending on what you think is right. I'm sure someone linked you the Mechanics of Creature Cost topic created by PhantomFox...

Then why most of art in the game is from spore?
like maxwell's demon, fallen elf, abomination, ash eater, graviton firemaster, steam machine, lycanthrope, horned frog, vampire, firefly queen, dragonfly,anubis etc.

Actually, I'm not disputing the fact that the image is from Spore. I'm more concerned about the website it's from (and more specifically, if another person wants to claim that art as their own - he needs to cite their name accordingly if that's true).

...either way though, the 'art change' is probably irrelevant, because Napalm Grenade has to provide the correct link to the image in the first place. ^^;; Sorry about the confusion. I've re-edited my previous post to just provide the link/artist name if possible.

Actually, I was thinking that sundial would NOT activate it, otherwise the owner of the card itself could power it up, which is obviously not the point of the card. At least the ones that cause the card to miss will activate it. This would be Bonewall, Hope, Phase Shield, and Gravity Shield, Fog, and Dusk, and then also Freeze and Basilisk (although still remaining in "stasis" for 6 turns). Let me know if I forgot something, and I'll change what I can as soon as I have the time.

Sundial has to power it up based of the current wording.  I don't see that it would be problem.  It would give the opponent time to build up forces as well.

I did see his post. I'm not sure how much faith I can put in it though as there are quite a few errors within the post. I won't give you any examples, but they're there.

I essentially picked 4 because of the stats of the Lava Golem. It has 5/1 and costs 5, but has the ability to grow EVERY turn, not just the turns that the enemy chooses to stall you. Although, it is a duo ability, so maybe 5 wouldn't be a bad Idea. Or quanta absorbtion. Let's here more debate on this topic.

Actually though,
Sundial and the other time effects don't actually cause an unsuccessful attack- they make it so that no attack is actually made at all.
But I think it's a cool idea- any shield it can't  hit psat just makes it stronger. Even sorts out Hope shields, although the time taken to do that means I don't think it's OP.  I like the idea behind it - Everything that stops it just makes it stronger

Yes I do believe this is true.  Stasis reads:  Creatures do not attack for 1 turn.  Flame Warrior | Blazing Swordsman however is dependent upon an unsuccessful attack as Xelax has stated previously.  If the creature does not attack, then there is no attack that can fail.
