Well, I thought about a direct shard of void-fast forward combo first, but you can also mix it with a devourer-drain life pair: multiple quanta absorbing, multiple max hp draining and healing. None of them is too expensive, so you do not need too much quanta. Well, not so instant, but I would love it.

It only works for cards with a timer. This includes, but is not limited to, dim shield, cloak, and wings. Shards such as SoV and SoG do not have a timer, they simply have an effect every turn. This card is meant simply to speed up your opponent's dim shield, and is why this card is currently viewed as UP.

This card has been in the polls since '11 (yeah it's that old), and I'm liking that it's finally getting some recognition, but at the same time the effect is being questioned.
In fact, I find myself questioning it.
I'm far from the best when it comes to balancing and catering to a changing meta-game so:
I'd like to hear you guys thoughts...

What exactly should the scope of this card be?
Cards with counters?
Cards with durations?
Damage?
Healing?
the list goes on...

The game is evolving and as old as this card is, it probably needs to evolve as well. So help me out here.

If this card worked on everything that activated every turn (not including weapon/creature attacks, not including summon sickness/ability cooldown) that would be a good card. Currently, it has limited uses, and if it were released into the game in its current state, would never be used.

Maybe make the up remove ability cooldown/summon sickness? That would make some amazing decks

Would this card remove a turn of your/an opponent's Shard of Sacrifice?  Would it trigger Shard of Patience for your creatures and/or opponent's creatures?  Would this automatically destroy an opponent's Sundial?

I think it is a great idea for a card.  I also think it would be a good idea if this triggered Acceleration (the creature doesn't attack, it just gets the buff).

I believe that's a yes to all of those questions if this goes the way people seem to want it too, and I'm perfectly ok with that.

From all the other comments I've updated the notes to reflect the opinion of the community.
This causes no damage on its own. Poison will not trigger - passively occurring buffs will activate(say like acceleration; not sure if passively is the right word here =P)
Any cards with a duration have that duration reduced by one.(such as SoSac)
Turn counters increase by one.
No affect on summon sickness/ability cool down.

Not sure on things such as SoV or Devourer yet - would need some play-testing possibly.

Bonds would be unaffected - they occur at the end of the turn. SoP is also said to activate at end of turn.
Both may change - (conflict with things like acceleration which occurs at damage step, how would this all be handled?)


With a few of these things in mind, I want some heavy feedback here.

Looking at this, this looks like lots of fun, and it is great to have another soft counter to SoSaC. Without Bonds and Sancts, etc. being effected this will prevent a massive healing deck from being made unstoppable. At the same time, it does effect cards like Sundial and SoSaC. Seems rather balanced and if Zanzarino gets his hands on it, I'm certain he would of course change it a slight bit, but I see nothing wrong with this card. Cool, balanced Idea overall.
