Personally, it should be noted that if you can copy any weapon's ability, then the book not gaining any ATK from the weapon would basically make the majority of the weapon targets useless, save for the classic ones used in FG decks (Eternity, Pulvy, Lobo), as most rare weapons need to be able to attack something in order to trigger its effect. That said, if this gets implemented, there will (hopefully) be more permanents that are introduced for the book to copy off of. ^^;

I don't think that it should gain a skill from targeting Arsenic, because that is damage-dependent.  I'[m not sure about Discord, but I think that that one is too.

Regarding your notes on weapons, crusader shows that Vampirism and Momentum are counted as weapon abilities. This card could technically gain unblockability and such but it wouldn't actually do anything.

EDIT: it would gain the ability from Arsenic to poison whenever it deals damage but when will that be?

Exactly.  The problem is that it does not deal damage (It isn't a weapon, a spell, or a creature) so it can't have a damage-dependent ability.

That makes absolutely no sense, why would it even be able to have Poison then?  So you could waste a card and the quanta to do nothing but take up a permanent slot?

Why would you quint a spark? You wouldn't, but you can.
Also, im intrigued about the ability cost. Is the difference between the upgraded and non-upgraded one worth it?
