I'm no grammer nazi but it's carpace. And for 7 :life 7 :water and 8 :earth don't you deserve something that can stop your opponent cold. Besides Steal, pulvy, momentum, deflag, butterlfy. So many things shu down the combo that you paid piles of quanta for. Think of it this way. with that quanta you could have the following damage.
1 Abyss crawler=6
3 Giant Frogs=15
2 steel golems=8
so end the match in like 3 turns or stall it's your choice.
there are better things, well maybe not better, but different yet effective things you could do with that quanta.

It's actually Carapace ;) My point about the different shield combinations is that this card would be an enabler for rainbow stall decks to have even more defensive capabilities, which I personally see to be a bad thing. The Hope combo with Mirror Shield wouldn't need anything other than an :earth mark to fuel the dual shield spell, then it could lock down. With an Aether Nymph and a bunch of immaterial Rays, there would be only a few things that could punch through for the win.

Whoops rainbow would benefit from this card the most but then again with FG's getting harder i think it's about time. An earth mark in a hope deck would hinder it's fractal speed, which is what makes the deck so dangerous. now you're going into aether nymph and immaterializing well you'd need more than one nymph for proper draws so thats not such a good idea either, since most ppl don't have 2 aether nymphs. The thing i like about this card is it would prmote lots of creative deckbuilding, heck we could even have a competition for most unique use of the dual shield. Thats what im trying to accomplish with this card. Creature ideas are great but only synergize with a few other cards. this card essentially creates over 576 synergies, which to me promotes a lot of different deck building ideas.

Like I said originally before you got all excited about this card, it seems overpowered. Also we need some art.

Perhaps you should consider making it a "Flying Shield" so that at least it could be creature controlled?

I would prefer some reasoning on the OP situation. I put in an art request but got no replies. Flying shield would be WWWWWWAAAAAAYYYYYY OP as you could use multiple ones. This can only be used once.

Wouldn't protected two turtle sheilds make you near invincible?
You'd only be able to be hit with bolts, momentum, and weapons.

How?

Monster A attacks and get stalled next turn it comes out and attack and gets stalled again.

Nvm, I'm getting my mechanics screwed up.
I don't know...the idea of having to sheilds just seems really powerful.
