NOTES:
This card does exactly as it says, it does weapon damage, but for a price it can take immortals down a notch.

My favorite deck has only uses Elite Phase Dragons in it, so I know ho OP Immortality is, I cannot count the number of time people have quit a game on me just because they cannot touch my creatures. So in an effort to both, make it more difficult for people like me and to not fight computers in PVP so much, I created this card.

Also this card was created as a counter to the new Shard of Wisdom that is "In Developement" at this time.
PS. Big thanks to OdinVanguard for creation of the art.

You don't need to be a jerk about it. A simply "I don't like it" would have sufficed, and how should I know that people have tried this before.

The general consesus of the community seems to be that cards should not be allowed to remove immortality from a creature permanently... I think there may be a possibility for exceptions there, but you'll have your work cut out for you justifying it.

Here's an idea though: Make the damage scale with the number of immortal creatures or immaterial permanents the opponent controls.

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?

That is a good idea, however, I was barely able to fit the current effect on there. I will give it a try, but I do not have time right now. Thank You.

i wasnt being a jerk, just stating it has been done before- a whole heck of a lot of times.  i expected that you did not know this, otherwise you would have not posted it, and i was informing you of this, and that it would serve no purpose to further consider the mechanic.

and the scaling of damage with number of immaterial creatures is also not novel, ethereal spectre in level 2 has a similar mechanic.

Alternatively, what if the weapon had "Weapon: Do 4 Damage at the end of every turn and Reduce opponent max hp by number of immaterial cards in play" instead of current ability?

For a cursed sword it could do damage and reduce max HP by the same amount, which is something players with shard of the void would want to accelerate the process.

Here is my idea for an image. I Made it with Hexagon and Bryce 7. Feel free to use it if you want...

Here's the delete code if you find something else (so it wont take up extra space on imgur)

If you don't like the lava back drop, I can set up something else... or i can give you the scene file if you have bryce yourself.

1. Ideas for removing immateriality has been suggested many, many, many times before
2. Even disregarding the first point, paying 3|2 :death along with an initial investment of 5 :darkness is way too expensive and situational
3. The attack/cost ratio is really low. Weapons generally have it higher than 1. Just compare with vampire dagger. 4 damage for 1 :darkness
