It seems the first one would be more appropriate as a spell (although the name and picture would need to be changed for it to make sense). As a permanent, If someone were to destroy it, what would happen?

I like this card. Soft Permanent protection. Sadly, i think protecting ALL your permanents once is a bit too powerful.
Looks like a cloak, just that it doesn't protect your creatures and it last until your opponent draws PC.
