Unupped deck was the easiest fight I've ever fought against a FG...

Drew 3 pink, 2 dark pendulums from start, after I got my first anti matter nymph out I healed more than the FG dmged me 2nd tears was quite deep in the stack so fight took a bit long. But really that first nymph is all you need to survive (and once you survive you'll deal damage sooner or later).

Damn, EvaRia, that was fun. Thanks!

I took the opening post and modified it slightly based on cards I had:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
500 500 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 5uu 5uu 5uu 6ts 6u7 6u7 6u7 6u7 6u7 6u7 6ve 6ve 6ve 6ve 6ve 7t8 7tb 7tb 7te 7te 7te 8pt

I replaced the chaos powers with nymphs since I had them, and added a tower instead of another dusk, since I only had 1 upped.  The deck completely wtfpwned Akebono even though I didn't draw any nymphs or antimatters until about turn 6; my opening hand was pends, liquid shadows, and imp dusk.  I got an EM, and won three upped cards, 2x massive dragon and a gravity tower :p  Definitely recommend the deck.  It should work even unupped, but I did find that the deck needs more entropy quanta than darkness, so maybe change a couple of the pends to amethyst pillars/towers.  I found that was the case even though I was using the nymph to antimatter, since I got a nymph before any imp antimatters.

edit: Also, it may or may not be obvious, but if you put liquid shadow on a creature with overdrive, the overdrive is removed.

I suppose antimatter would have a liquid state as normal matter does, but what is the in-universe reason for antimatter reversing the creatures damage, rather than blowing them up?

I guess it's that they behave in the exact opposite manner from normal?  In physics, antimatter particles will spin in opposite directions, have opposite charges, etc, from normal matter.

I was under the impression that the card was pouring antimatter on the creature. If it turned the creature into antimatter, it should kill you instantly due to all the energy released from hitting you (presumably made of normal-matter-elements).

Please stay on topic and discuss antimatter in the appropriate topic:

This topic is about the Oracle predicting Akebono as your next FG! I still find my deck the most reliable way to counter him. Thanks for putting it in the OP ;)
