What CuCN said. It's all about knowing the AI. The Singularity OTK's use Sundial, Chimera and Antimatter like this, but your deck would sooner benefit from repeatable healing.

I find using sundials till it momentums and accels its dragons and then using TU and BB on them very effective.
Found this out when using VDB and it works really good  ;)
Basically afk.

Nymphs are needed though (unless you get lucky), and try to play a Dragon first. Don't want the Nymphs OD'd.

Very nice deck thanks!
I always had problem with Akebono, but every thing went very well.

The large amount of Pillar help with Sahrd of Focus eating them.
The Dragon is a good damage dealer and a good way to avoid the Nymph to be OverDrived. And mono deck is good again the Black Hole heal from shard of Focus.

Yeah, Poison Dials works far better than any of this Liquid Antimatter nonsense. FAR better.

LSAM is better than sundials. Those gravity shards beat any dialing attempts. LS kills the shards. Use nymphs, if you can, for repeatable spells.

Akebono plays Chimera when the total attack of all his non-delayed, non-frozen creatures matches or exceeds your HP.
And I always found it funny how the AI rushes to play Chimera when there's SoSac up removing those nasty SoFos

Works great. Doesn't really need 6 Antimatter. Cries out for a Holy Flash for the EM since otherwise you're always down 7hp from Akebono's Titan at the end.

I tried one of the OP decks, all unupped with a Purple Nymph and a Pendulum in place of the Chaos Powers. Akebono simply destroyed all my pendulums and I lost.  :( Was there some way that could have been prevented?

I always pack some more quanta than necessary if the opponent has SoFo's. Against Akebono it gets trickier if you don't have a lot of Purple Nymphs or SoSa's, but I suppose in that deck I'd do -2 CP, -1 LS, -1 Vampire Dagger, +4 Pends.

Preparing Upped Speed Poison Kamikaze is more easier than Antimatter-Liquid shadow deck. It's even cheaper, because everyone has the Pdials.

No EM, but really fast.

I had the same idea: take VDB and remove the VD. What does that leave me with? B? :P
Anyway, here's my version :)

Same idea, but I added congeals as another 1 quanta stall source, and you can actually use the shorter timer to your advantage by stalling Akebono's first creature until he overdrives it, and then PU, PU, PU and BB the original.
