Welcome all to the team
I'm very glad to see you here. To introduce myself: I am an old player who have played Elements more than a year by now. I have participated in the last war, where I was often in the role of deckbuilder. I have also done a lot of PVP and played in the first Champions League. Sometimes I play in tournaments too, but usually just for fun, I don't prepare for them too much. I'm also a Top 50 member; so, if anyone of you gonna need some weapons, I'll make farms.
I'm pretty aware that
has been often seen as "the weakest element". That is not true. I would also like to mention few things here:
1. There is no reason why we should have weaker decks than other teams. After Pendulums came out, all Elements are pretty much equal. We should just take overpowered cards from others and make duo-decks with them. Besides,
has some very annoying cards (Owls Eye, Wings) itself.
2.There is no reason why we should make weaker deck than others. I'm pretty confident about my deckbuilding skills and I am sure that there are people in our team who have those skills too. If we try to see ourselves as others do, then we can predict their behavior quite well and make decent counter-decks. And if we test our decks enough, then those are unstoppable (or good, at least)!
3. There is no reason why we should play worse that others. Although some of you are relatively new, this is not an argument. Playing Elements is not a rocket science. Although there is some math involved (should I play shield or attack?, should I dive Wyrm or wait and play Dragon in next turn?, should I shoot with my Owl's Eye or wait and play critter in next turn? etc), I am sure that everyone of us is able to do that kind of math. Just take your time. If someone feels unconfident about the deck, playing against AI 3 would help.
4. There is no reason why we should be less lucky than others. If we are confident enough, we will be lucky too. And of course there is no reason to be unconfident. Anyone of us can beat any other player from any team. I'm sure we will kick some big asses there.
5. Conclusion: no matter what people say, there is no reason why we can't win this even. We already have some card advantage compared with many teams. Just let's try to keep that. Losses are not catastrophical either, we have many opportunities to come back. The other advantage might be that many teams will come with their relatively weaker decks against us.
And what is the most important, let's have some fun!
