You're welcome to use the full Vault tools if you want. The idea behind the spreadsheet is simply so that the WM's can track current/previous Vaults and to help prevent falsifying information. S/D/C/P will still be done via forum posts.
That said, the Vault still has all the functionality it contained last War, it's just not up to date (and I have no idea how to use it, apart from basic current Vault tracking) so feel free to restore tabs and whatever.
