Here's my preliminary thoughts:
Discards: |
Deck #1 | Deck #2 | Deck #3 |
3 Dragonfly | 15 Wind Pillar | 11 Wind Pillar |
3 Dragon | 1 Fog Shield | 3 Thunderstorm |
12 Air Pendulum | 3 Owl's Eye | 3 Shockwave |
5 Dim Shield | 6 Unstable Gas | 2 Air Pendulum |
4 Fractal | 2 Shockwave | 4 Steal |
| | 4 Liquid Shadow |
From Deck #1 we kept 3 Damselfly for the following reasons:1) Having 6 flies is crucial to rebuilding this deck in the future (Fractal will be easier to find than Damsels)
2) We need to keep quanta sources
3) Keeping in element cards is a nice bonus
From Deck #2 we kept 2 Nymphs and 1 Pillar for the following reasons:1) The nymphs allow us to keep our 2 nymphs deck alive
2) We need to keep quanta sources
From Deck #3 we kept 6 Dragons & 3 Pendulums for the following reasons:1) Dragons are almost our sole source of in-element damage (we cannot afford to lose too many)
2) We use close to all the dragons in our vault every turn - we can't afford to lose many
3) We need to keep quanta sources
Key Losses:
38 Pillars/Pends - ouch! (much of this will be recovered from conversion)
Fractal Damsel Deck (Jen is a sad puppy - this might be my favourite deck of ours)
3 Owl's Eye - This leaves us with 5 in Vault and we've been using a lot each round
Salvage: |
Deck #1: | Deck #2 | Deck #3 |
6 Cards for Conversion | 2 Steals | 1 Fog Shield |
| 4 Cards for Conversion | 8 Cards for Conversion |
18 Pillars Recovered from the Conversion above
Additional Conversion from Vault: (Note this is merely the remaining Aether cards from the Fractal Damsels deck)
2 Parallel Universe
1 Dimensional Shield
2 Silence
This leaves us with:
78 Pillars/Pends (at the start of the round)
-38 to Discards
+23 from Conversions
63 Pillars/Pends
+6 Nova
+6 Damsels
Note: This still leaves us with 8 Decks in the Vault including this Strategist version of Shadow Dragons.
