I also find skull shield as one of the most underrated cards.  We might want those.  Adding the decks now.

THOUGHTS AND COMMENTS:
As it is, we're not in a good position. We're losing terrain, little by little. This round went 4-4 again, but discards grow while salvages remain the same. But, we have some nice salvages to enhance some of our decks. These are the cards I think will help us:
- Arsenics
- Poisons
- Skull Shields
- Novas
- Basilisk Bloods
- Purple Dragons
- Sanctuaries

I think we have enough Miracles and Discords, but those are an option too.
Now, the matchups we have more trouble with, until now, are time and darkness. The other ones are a gamble, as usual, but these three require a good deal of effort to get a good deck against. Looking at their decks, darkness might be weak to a heavy CC rush - one Air can pull off; time is versatile, but an entropy duo might be something to consider, as most of their decks are quanta-heavy.

That's why my proposed salvages are:
2x Arsenic
4x Poison
6x Basilisk Blood
2x Miracle
4x Sanctuary
2x Purple Dragon
4x Nova

As for discards, we'd better discard some cards we have a backup of. It's too soon to reduce our options. Also, we can convert 24 pendulums/pillars, so it's good to keep in mind that discarding 24 of those is a must. Reasoning is the same as last time: we don't lose anything and we have more options. So, my proposed discards are these:

3x Wind Pillar
4x Air Pendulum
1x Fog Shield
4x Nova

1x Owl's Eye
1x Sky Blitz
9x Wind Pillar
1x Azure Dragon

5x Wings
2x Azure Dragons
5x Air Pendulum

3x Air Pendulum

I like it.  We need more talks people, everyone seems to have died and stopped talking.  My thoughts:
Skull shield may be very useful, so maybe take a few of those.  Possibly 2 Arsenics, 2 Poisons, and 2 Skulls.  We could possibly take the voodoos and make a deck piling our CC on it, but that is unlikely.  More miracles and sancs are fin by me.  I like the BBs, but how do they fit in our decks?  Our element has a lot of CC, and adding 20hp to a creature doesn't help CC.  As for discarding, a decent amount of pillars/pends should be taken out, only to be converted back.  So, lose 24 of them.  I think it is ok to let some of our air cards go, like a few fog shields or UGs, but off element cards would be more helpful.  I don't really like the hopes, so maybe discard them.  We need more discussion!  Also, has anyone seen Amilir?  I have no idea what happened to him.

The BBs are going to be converted right away in my plan... I don't think the earth deck can give us good salvages anyway.

I'm all for converting the basilisk blood, but i don't think we should discard unstable gas, i can see it being really helpful.

Going from what Morm posted these are my thoughts:

I agree we really need to break out of the middle and get some positive rounds in the next few.  Also we cannot discard too many air cards or we risk not having enough for legal decks in later rounds.  Now that discards are getting higher we are going to be forced to discard air cards.  Once discard hits 30, unless all our decks are 50/50 air then we will be discarding more air than off element.  I think we should convert 24 pillars but only discard 12 so we start gaining pillars now.  It would be nice to win every match but we have to prepare in case we take some losses so they don't compound into suicides.

My differences on salvage:
3 light pillars and 1 miracle instead of 4 poison.  our good light decks are pretty heavy on light and we could use the pillars.  There is no point in taking 1 poison so miracle seems reasonable for the last salvage.

3 deflags instead of 2 miracles and 4 sanctuaries.  We only get 3 salvage from this deck instead of 6.  I think we have enough sanctuaries right now and these 3 deflags can replace some discards from the UG deck.

I agree on the other salvages.

Conversion, I agree though maybe adjust a bit toward more pends.

Discarding all spiders may be an error. Quinted spiders is a good deck, if you think our opponent will pack heavy CC / low PC. I say we should keep it. Perhaps losing two dragons, two blitzes and two pendulums instead wouldn't hurt as bad. We have plenty of all three, and keeping a whole strategy (nay, two counting fractal) may be worth the price...
