This round expect to have a target on our back.  Not many people were expecting us to do as well as we did in round 1 but now that they know what we are capable of they will be gunning for us and preparing harder.  We ran 3 flying weapon and 2 darkness decks last round so that is what will be most expected.  We only ran one wings deck but teams will probably still expect that from us.  In general expect airborne creatures, reverse times, and darkness counters such as antimatter and permanent protection.  Also almost every team is running duos with entropy.  Expect discords, antimatters, and maxwells.  This might be a good round to use some aether decks.

So I was originally compiling the win/loss record of decks with discord for a thread on the card itself, but the information is telling enough that I'll keep it for us for now.

I looked it up for Round one:

Decks with 1 Discord: 1-0

Decks with 2 Discords: 6-0

Decks with >2 Discord:6-2

Overall record for decks with Discord: 13-2

That number is just ridiculous. I doubt any other card had such a high correlation with success in round one. Just something that we need to keep in mind. If other people realize this too, we can expect to see more discords. Fortunately, both of our shields are helpful against Discord. Fog shield will give you some breathing room every time the discord misses, and wings stops it entirely.

One time, i saw a morning glory in weapon slot hits through wings. Pretty much off topic, but just wanted to ask just you guys if that was a one-time bug or something else?

I think you missed something because Dogg won his match vs an opponent with 2 discords.  We as a team were 2-1 vs. discord decks with the only loss being Istari's coin flip match that had we been a bit luckier definitely could have gone our way.  So if people are looking at these stats they may stop running discord decks against us since we seem to do abnormally well against them (hopefully not though if we continue to be much more successful against them than everyone else.)

So apparently I failed when I did it the first time. I think it was because I did it by going through the individual battle results. I did it again using chum3's deck archive and got this

1 Discord: 2-0
2 Discords: 3-2
3 Discords: 7-4

This makes the overall record a more reasonable 12-6. Still pretty high, but not absurdly so.

You're right when you said air was 2-1 vs. discord. So we put up the same record as occurred in general, but our loss was the Istari's literal coin flip match.

Our record was better than general.  In general the record against discord was 6-12.  We did as well against discord as most did that actually had discord.

Lol math fail on my part. Yes you're right:

General success rate when facing discord 33%
Air's success rate when facing discord 67%

There, now hopefully all of the fail is gone.
